  • A: Hello. You can use the illy Classico Medium Roast Espresso Ground Coffee in your coffee maker at your discretion. We do not recommend using it because it is a finer grind so you would just need to mindful of potential grinds when using. We recommend the illy Classico Medium Roast Ground Drip Coffee instead since the grinds are coarser.

For Moka preparation we would recommend Moka Ground Coffee Classico - Medium Roast or the Ground Drip Coffee Classico - Medium Roast which are a courser grind.     Great Espresso

    Not fine enough for espresso grind....

    Would recommend you buy Cafe Bustelo, Lavazza, or KIMBO if you plan on using pre-ground coffee with your espresso machine. This one is advertised as espresso grind but it does not extract properly / at all from my machine, even after using an MDT tool / solid tamp. Very annoying and falsely advertised. Will work if you grind it down further, but at that point what’s the utility in buying pre ground?

    Tastes Really Good

    Umm this is going to sound dramatic… But this espresso is life changing!! So good! I was using the Starbucks espresso for a solid year, but wasn’t getting the results that I wanted.
