Q: Has anyone used these skates outdoors? They are called Rink Skates but I have bought outdoor/indoor skates labeled "Rink". Do they run smooth on pavement? Has anyone used them on sidewalk/street? Any input on outdoor use is appreciated!
A: Thanks MaryKate, and yes your answer about softer wheels for outdoor use is true. I'm looking for derby skates so I will probably have multiple sets of wheels anyway

I think these might be for just indoor use, considering that they are hard wheels. Typically hard wheels are used primarily for indoor use. If you would like to skate outside then you might need to purchase softer wheels, which are meant for outdoor use because they are more shock absorbent.
