Unexpected change in ingredients
Purina changed the ingredients unexpectedly in their dog food and now my dog is experiencing diarrhea and now vomiting. Not only that but I have an entire bag of dog food that is now going to waste so we're both miserable now.

Dogs won't even eat it. Nor cats.
Neither of my dogs will eat this. I bought a huge bag of it and now it just sits to waste. I tried to entice them with wet food on top, but they will just pick around this brand of food everytime. Such a shame and waste of money.

My dog REFUSES to eat + Bad stomach aches...
My dog will not eat this dog food and has poor digestive issues after eating. My husky does not seem to like this dog food/chow, I'd even try to mix in wet food that she likes but she picks out the wet food and deliberately avoids the chow! And after I finally manage to get her to eat the dog chow, she ends up getting bad gas, diarrhea, and stomach aches. This chow is horrible.

This food has made both of my dogs very sick
This food has made both of my dogs very sick. One has bloody diarrhea, the other suffered a severe seizure. Since this food was the only variable introduced and the fact that both have reacted like they were poisoned, I can only come to the conclusion that this food is to blame.

One of my dogs broke out in a red rash both itches
I've always had my dog's one Purina dog food. One of my dogs is 14 the other one is 6 years old. Well I changed it to this flavor for something different in flavor, since they were getting tired of the chicken. I've noticed my 6 years old dog started to break out in a rash all over his skin, started to turn read and around his mouth. Both dogs started to scratch and itch I will go back to the other Purina healthy weight dog food

Made both our male and female dogs sick , they had diarrhea for a few days until this food got out their system. Buy with caution. Seems like a low grade of Purina brand. If you read some of the reviews here a few people say the same thing about it making their dogs sick .

Has chicken when beef flavored
Says that it beef flavor but has chicken by product in it. I have a dog with allergies and I am pretty sure that he is allergic to chicken. Put beef and chicken flavor on the package to be more clear to consumers. I am not sure if I initially misread or if you changed formula to include chicken but my dog used to do better on this food then got worse. Also the last bag one of German shepherds that is not a picky eater doesn't seem to enjoy as much for the past couple bags.

Great dog food
I have been feeding Purina dog chow to my dogs for over 25 yrs. My Parents fed Ralton Purina years ago to their dogs. Purina dog chow is gd dog food for dogs it's wallet friendly most importantly it's nutritious for my puggles which by the way they have sensitive digestive systems. They do gd on Purina dog chow. I'm not sure why all the negative comments whenever you switch your dog to a new dog food you must transition them you can't just switch them you have to gradually transition them otherwise you will cause your dog to have stomach upset on the bag it tells you how to transition your dogs to the new food. Purina makes good puppy food and good dog foods.

Poor shipping and delivery!
It was the delivery that was not right. No box and both bags were thrown on the porch at the edge. One more step and the bags would have been covered from awning. Instead they were drenched from the rain and snow that we got! I've ordered a few times and they were always in a box. I was very disappointed.
