Q: Is this rug able to be cleaned with a shampoo vacuum?
A: I haven't had to clean my year but let me tell you it spots clean so well. My cat have thrown up on it and it cleans right up. I love it.

Q: Is "tan" a brown or gray/taupe color? Is "cream" a white or ivory/bone color? I don't want stark white. I'm looking for a soft ivory/cream or super light taupe/beige. I just need to warm up a small space that has darker colored furniture.

Q: Is this rug easy to clean with toddlers and all?
A: NO!!! I have four kids and try as I might, my vacuum cannot lift the little beads, popcorn kernel, or other small things that drop into the rug. I’ve purchased two of these rugs in 6 years because I love them so much, but over time, due to the high traffic and many “oops” on the rug, I find that over time, you just cannot restore the fluff. The rug just becomes very flat. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this a 3rd time. If only the pile were a bit shorter or the fibers were tighter to prevent things from going down in there. Really sad to have to get rid of this rug again.

Q: The cream color looks really silvery gray on all 3 of my monitors. Does it have silver/gray mixed into cream?
A: I just saw the rug today in a Target store. I saw no silver or gray mixed into with the cream. The color is not a true white, but maybe more of an ivory. Cream makes me think of tan or beige understones but this didn't seem to have any. It could be that the thin "eyelash" strands projected a silvery hue because they are thinner than the shag threads but again, I did not see silver. Very pretty. I am having a similar one delivered tomorrow from another store for over $300 and am seriously considering returning it and getting the one from Target. Wish I had seen it sooner.

submitted byShelly - 6 years agoTarget staff supportA: Wouldn’t recommend it if you’re getting a larger one! Due to the high pile it would be tough to effectively vacuum out food crumbs or droppings and it would get pretty yucky over time. If you get a smaller one that you can lift and flip/beat from time to time to remove the tiny crumbs, etc. that get trapped in there, you might be okay with it. But this is generally a nice heavy rug, so it would be a workout!!
