Flawed design
though this one may use less water than the Angel tub which has holes in it, I still have use more water and waste it because the plug for drainage on this one is poorly placed that it doesn’t actually drain when it’s flush against the tub. The hole is blocked. Whoever decided to put it there didn’t think it through, clearly. It’s bad placement. Yesterday, while giving my 3 month old a bath, I had to lift and tilt the tub several times to drain the water because of several reasons for the water getting dirty. Each time, I had to lift and tilt the tub and wait for 5 minutes for all the water to drain. It’s really annoying and tedious. Also, grime sticks to this cheap plastic so you want to scrub it every couple of uses. Not the best design.

Do not buy
A horrible bath the plug leaks and it is extremely difficult to clean. Also the grooves make it extremely uncomfortable for a growing newborn once they outgrow the sling but are still unable to sit independently

Perfect
I love this bath tub so much! I looked so hard for one that wasn't going to mold but also didn't need the whole tub filled up. I am so glad I went with this one! I personally didn't use the newborn sling, but my newborn baby was already big. Considering buying another for my mom's house.

Buy it.
I looked at so many, just buy this one. Disregard the low reviews with shipping issues and ones with stuff on them. I assume stuff spills on the shelves because I bought mine from the store and there was lint stuck to it and soap or something. I mean, it’s a plastic tub. It works well for all stages/sizes of baby! The sling is attached behind the cardboard tag on it so you have to be careful not to toss that, I did initially. Also, check it before you buy it because there were some that you could tell people were ripping them off & taking them. This requires less water than the others we’ve had and it seems the safest so far. Once we’re done we just flip it over so there’s no standing water and it needs wiped out every once in a while, just like anything else. Yes, it’s cheap plastic but most are it’s no frills but it works. I researched so many and bought others and now with my second child we’re using this again. It doesn’t mold, there aren’t a ton of random places for grime to sit and it’s not complicated.

The newborn sling does not give the baby much water to be dipped inside of. Not super helpful.

It does not hold water at all. The spout keeps popping open on its own, causing the water to drain out every time. It is frustrating and a waste of money.

Beware!
I wanted to make sure to write this review so others can be warned. We were originally using the angel care tub and decided to switch since our baby was starting to grow out of it. This bathtub looked great at a first glance but it is very dangerous. First few uses, she was sliding around in the tub, even with the bump at the bottom that is supposed to keep the baby in place. The bump is basically pointless and she slips up and over it. And the back piece does not hold your baby secure either. Thought this was just something I needed to figure out. Just used this for the last time. She slipped up over the bump and started to turn to her side slipping down in the tub and got water in her mouth. This is a HUGE hazard! Do not reccomend!
