Love these little tongs! They are the perfect size for almost everything. Ive been using them more than the large tongs.

The quality of these must have changed - the one reviewer pinching her grandchildren would've left some flesh wounds using mine. I was too hungry to take a picture, but these basically shredded my steaks, no matter how carefully I grabbed them. I don't know how any other food item would fare: the scalloped edges are as sharp as a knife's blade. I almost cut myself cleaning it, before I took it back to the store. Also, as one other review mentioned, they are quite short: I got splashed with hot fat while handling the steaks in my pan. Finally, that spring can double as a hand workout, and the release is basically closed or open, no gradual, in-between levels as on my old one. I think, for now I'll stick with my old silicone-tipped ones that these were supposed to replace. I wonder now how bad others are that these get such raving reviews and test wins.

Really great build, really good for cooking but the edges on these tongs are too sharp and/or unfinished. I’m pretty careful in the kitchen and due to the sharp edges I ended up cutting myself while hand washing these.

These are actually really nice. They’re sturdy and have a good grip. I like the locking mechanism. They look nice and feel comfortable in your hand.

unfinished sharp steel cut my thumb quite badly during washing up. don't let your kids wash these tongs.

Nice weight and the perfect size for all of your cooking and grilling needs.

Nice and sturdy and the length of the tongs are perfect

They open, they close. They can move food from one pan on a hot stove to another. They flippity-flip food in the oven. But most importantly, they work quite well at making snapping noises as you pretend to be a crab and chase your giggling children (and husband) out of the hot kitchen. The metal makes the noise much better than the rubber ended tongs.

Excellent quality!!! Very sturdy and handles meat perfectly. I especially love the locking feature which allows for easily storage and allows me to sit it on a plate and not worry about it falling or being in the way. I’ve already ordered to more so I can thru out the other junk ones I have

These are the best tongs I have ever owned. Easy to store with the locking mechanism. I love that i can pop the clicker against something to open them when my hands are full. I bought two pair.

Great tongs to be able to use for meat and everything else , so you don't have to worry about anything melting off since it's all metal. Also an amazing price

Great and sturdy for the price. Many tongs have silicone covering the ends, which makes it difficult to grip certain types of food. I got these specifically for when I make BBQ pulled pork and they work perfectly for my needs.

The product deserves 5 stars. However, I am giving one star to alert readers that the measurements given on the website are completely incorrect. I had chosen these tongs because I wanted LONG tongs. Here are the correct measurements. The website description ("highlights") says that the tongs measure 12 inches. Further down, it gives an overall length of 13.5 inches. I suspect this is meant to include the tongs AND the end part which has the locking mechanism. Here are the correct measurements: The entire length (tongs with locking mechanism) measures not quite 11 1/2 inches. The tongs (without mechanism) measure 10 1/4 inches. So, if you are looking for a pair of long tongs, these are not for you. Target needs to correct the information on the website.
