Q: There is no rotation button on this clock the projection has to be read from right to left

submitted by Manu - 5 years ago
  • A: The clock is meant to be placed on a nightstand, either to the right or left of you. When laying in bed, the projection will display the time correctly either directly above you or across the room if the projection arm is tilted. Please feel free to contact us at custserv_clocks@mzb.com if you have any additional questions.

  • A: I'll answer this again because its such a fail. If you place it on your nightstand, you need to face the clock away from you to see the projection in the correct orientation. If I am incorrect, please feel free to correct me.

submitted byWSilver - 5 years ago
  • A: This is SO weak. If you are buying for the projection, don't bother. Its backwards. That is useless to me. This complaint is echoed numerous times. I can get the projection to be normal if I face the clock face away from me. But then I can see the clock face. Unless there is a way to switch the orientation of the projected time, which I haven't seen after a couple of hours of searching the web, you are adding ZERO value. My humble recommendation is do not buy this if you need the projection feature to be operationally useful.

Q: How do you dim the display...

submitted by Baymike - 7 years ago
  • A: Well that sucks!! The light is way too bright to sleep with it on. I only paid 25 bucks or so, I’ll just buy a quality alarm clock with dim button!! Btw y’all, this sharp brand is not related to the renown Sharp brand we’re all familiar with. Also, quick fix for the bright none-dimmable light; just put a piece of cloth or washcloth on the clock face… the projection still works fine.

  • A: Hello. Thank you for your question. This model has a fixed display brightness. There is no dimmer. Best regards, MZ Berger Team

  • A: We've had this clock for a couple of years and it is perfect. It is very simple (for us) to use. And, we have no problem with the light!
