Trying to figure out how to help your child make this “game” work takes way too much time and effort. Unless you have another child or adult who already knows what to do then you will be stuck searching the internet for help with a child who wants to already be “playing” this “game” that still needs to be built. This is not a game. It’s like sims world but you make it with legos.

I love this game and play it a lot, maybe too much 😂. I love the blocky texture and all that stuff. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to have both a Nintendo and a Microsoft account to use the marketplace. I can’t change my skin, and the other features the game comes with (Mario themed world and skins, the other skins packs, and maybe something else all require those accounts, which I’m not allowed to have. But if you have kids and you don’t want them to have multiplayer access, then don’t sign into those accounts for them. It keeps them from having that access, but they won’t have marketplace either, so no mods, add ons, or additional skins. I love the game though, and would definitely recommend

Flex those creativity muscles
My kids are still playing with this even after a few weekends, so it really holds their interest. They enjoy both the creative and survival mode. I like that they can use split screen to play together, and can use local play to do this. I also like how they get to flex their creativity muscles with this game.

Got boring fast
Overall it was Ok. One thing I have to say is that if you have gotten used to playing pocket edition with no crosshairs it really takes a while to get used to the switch version. Once I got used to the controls it was fun for a bit but got boring after a while.
