Love it! My husband did not have any problems putting it together and it looks awesome! The fact it was on sale for a great price was icing on the cake.

This was a disaster. While it is a nice looking piece, the manufacturer did not drill the holes properly. I paid a local handy man to put it together, and when I contacted Target about the defect, they wanted me to take it a part and ship it back to them.

Color is much lighter than the picture, almost like a white washed. Did not come with directions and is missing pieces. Very disappointing, especially for Target.

Very nice, didn’t take me long to put it together, I do this a lot so I have no issue putting items together. It’s like a straight forward puzzle for me.

great size. great design. just what i needed. it's more brown than i realized though. wished it came in black!

The bad thing I have to say about this bookcase is the door scrapes at the bottom, causing all the laminate to scrape off when you open and shut the door. The holes weren't punched high enough on the side wall so I had to do some modification in order to get the door to open and close without scraping. I was able to use brown and black markers to repair it so it wasn't clearly visible that the laminate had come off. Other than that, it looks really nice and I love that half of it is covered so I can hide the unpretty stuff on that side. It's isn't huge - so be sure to double check dimensions. It seems smaller in person.

Love this shelf! It's a great piece, and holds way more than you'd expect.

So far, it seems like a great bookshelf! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to put it all together because some of the construction bits were missing. I called the number provided and apparently they're going to be out of stock of that part until mid-May, so I've got a half-built bookshelf taking up floor space for about another month. Excited to get it together, just wish it came with all the parts in the first place so I didn't have to wait!

A little tricky to assemble, especially installing the doors, but it came through in the end. All of the pieces fit together perfectly with minimal finessing. It is quite heavy so I recommend having a second person to help with maneuvering it during assembly. The back cover was even pre-marked to make nailing it into the vertical & horizontal braces easier, though one of the lines was slightly off when I checked. I do wish the shelf brackets were a tad bigger and the cuts to the underside of the shelves could've been cleaner but once installed they're barely visible, so no big issue. Overall it looks exactly like the picture, the quality is good for the price & the assembly instructions were clear enough, so it was worth it.

I found this case after searching every website I could think of for CD and DVD storage. No other store I could find had the quality, color, or price I was willing to pay but Target. I don't like clutter. I live in an apartment. So for me the deal maker was this item comes with a door for the right side that blends so well it's not even noticeable. If some wish not to install the door and have an open bookcase that was not suggested with the instruction manual but the door can be eliminated during assembly. The predrilled screw holes aren't even noticeable. The delivery was great and as estimated by FedEx. FedEx gave me a two hour window and it was delivered. So FedEx gets five stars for a job well done. The item weighs in at around 85 LBS. A little hefty for a sixty eight year old gent, yet managable. The packaging was ample to protect the contents withot being bulky. Nothing was damaged. I'm rather handy so it took a little over an hour to assemble. The actual assembly could have gone better if the parts was better marked. That could be a manufacturer issue or they could have been labled and the sticker may have fallen off. No big deal if the assembler pays attention to the very detailed drawings and easy to follow instructions. As for parts the manufacturer does include a few extra parts in case something gets misplaced. Here's an interesting fact. This item aligned perfectly during assembly. Everything fit as it should. Would I recommend this bookcase? If you want quality and ease of assembly without breaking the bank then I recommend this Target item hands down. When I first saw the item and placed it in my cart it showed up as out of stock. Targets option of letting me know when it was available works well. They emailed me and I was able to get what no other store could provide.
