I really enjoy mixing it with fresh juice because the drink stays simple, bright, and very refreshing. On its own, the aroma has a nice balance of vanilla, oak, and warm spice. The taste feels smooth and layered, with a little caramel sweetness, some dark fruit, and a touch of dark chocolate. What I like is that the balance feels very natural. It is not too sweet, not too sharp, and the light bitterness from the oak gives it a cleaner finish. There is also a subtle citrusy lift that keeps it feeling fresh, so it works especially well with fresh juice. But once I tasted it was even better. Slightly, not overly sweet and has lots of depth. I mixed it with coke and it was a perfect night cap!

This is definitely a premium rum that should be enjoyed as such. It is bold and has nuances of smokiness like tobacco and spices. I want to say serve it neat and you won't go wrong.

It’s perfect for sipping with some good quality chocolate rather than diluting as a cocktail. It has a lovely fruity aroma twinned with cloves, vanilla, cashews & pistachios. It has a smooth, creamy finish. Definitely one of my favorite rums
