These negative reviews are definitely wrong. Purchased and boiled to 165 internal temp. Chicken was so good I ate it plain. No seasoning or anything. Usually I buy sprouts air chilled chicken and it comes out rubbery and not all that great. This chicken looks great and it’s very good quality. Look up how they raise the birds on their website. Btw I’m not affiliated at all I just appreciate good quality product. This is by far superior to all store branded and other chicken.

Air chilled is the way to go!
I only buy the Smart Chicken brand- both organic and non. They don’t pump water or filler into the chicken- it’s only air chilled. When you cook the meat, it stays nearly the same size. There isn’t any water needing to be drained from the pan either, so no “boiled” meat but still very moist when cooked to 165-175F. (I highly recommend cooking in clarified butter/ghee for the perfect golden brown.) Additionally, the breasts freeze very well, and are a great size for cutting in half for two meals/people. Most definitely worth the extra dollar or two.

from Tyson to Smart Chicken aka RAGS TO RICHES
I cook chicken like almost everyday and I decided to try the organic brand because I kept getting rubbery chicken from Tyson brand. This changed my life. Cooks so good. All fat trimmed off and tastes amazing. Worth the price.

I'm really frugal so I never thought I would purchase more expensive chicken breasts. However, these are so worth it to me. I can't stand all the fat that I need to trim off OTHER brands. I love the fact that I don't need to trim these at all! If I probably weighed how much fat I cut off the other brand's, the price per pound would probably be about the same to this one. These also taste much better. One time this brand was not available and I purchased the OTHER brand. During this dinner, my 12-year-old daughter commented "this isn't the good brand." I thought that was so funny since I didn't even know my kid paid attention.
