Q&A(21)

Q: I would also like to know if there is a zipper to open the pouf and add stuffing if it gets flat.

submitted by schmez6 - 6 years ago
  • A: I don't have a zipper on mine

    submitted byJF24 - 6 years ago
  • A: Hi schmez6 – This knit pouf is perfect for extra seating or just to kick your feet up and use it as an ottoman. There is no zipper to add any filling. You would simply shift it around to maintain the shape. Thanks for stopping by! - Phonsavanh

  • A: Even if you shift it around, it does NOT shape it back. I've had mine for almost a yr & sadly it is NOT as firm as day 1. Better suited as a foot rest & NOT for seating.

Q: how do you clean it, can the cove come off

submitted by Maks - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi Maks - Thank you for reaching out to Target about this adorable poof. The cover does not come off, so we recommend spot cleaning any stains that may occur. We appreciate you stopping by! - Megan

  • A: We figured out how to clean it after a lot of frustration about how dirty it had gotten. There's a piece at the bottom that is a single line of rope that ties the crochet together and if you find the knot (hidden inside the bottom) you can untie it and then pull the inside out of the bottom opening (takes a bit of effort to squeeze out the inside). Hope that makes sense, it's a bit tricky.

Q: Spot cleaning won't work for the cover since the entire cover is dirty. Can I machine wash with "delicate" mode?

submitted by Crafty - 1 year ago
  • A: Hello Crafty- We appreciate your interest in this Cloverly Chunky Knit Pouf Cream. It is designed with a non-removable cover, and it recommends spot or wipe cleaning only. Machine washing, even on a delicate cycle, is not advised, as it could damage the knit structure or the internal polystyrene bead filling.- Auria

Q: Does anyone know what to spot clean the cream colored 1 with? I am sad that the knitted cover can not come off. I've had mine for a year now and at this point I need to "spot" clean the entire thing.

submitted by Ger - 3 years ago
  • A: Hello Ger. That's a great question. As you will be spot cleaning the cream coloured one, detergents and light acids like vinegar should work well in treating stains on cotton textile. You can use bleach as a last resort if you continue to have trouble with spot cleaning. -Ace
