it's so great
We can use a piano with our baby brothers. We can learn, and it makes silly voices.

Hippos don’t hop
Within a month of owning this toy, the hippos stop hopping. All the other functions work so not sure what I can do? Any suggestions?

Hi Lourdes - Thank you for your feedback. We are wondering if you tried replacing the batteries with new, brand name ones. Usually that's all it takes to get the birdies on the B. toys Hippo Pop Piano hopping again!

Awesome introduction to the keys for my daughter
Have twin daughters (18 months), both are obsessed with music. While one has taken to percussion, the other has been OBSESSED with the hippo keyboard. I’m only giving it four stars for two reasons. #1- I’m on my 2nd keyboard, she broke the first one. Not totally a design flaw as this child is a madman and is constantly on the move and used to step on it when she’d get excited about this or that. #2- this what actually is taking the star off- there’s a function on it that if you press a certain button, every time you press any key it advances a song (I think it’s usually London Bridge is falling down). Since she figured out that she can play a melody (I used her hand to play half of “chopsticks” and had her play through “bubble bubble bubble” and now she tries to play it by herself) she gets upset cuz the keys don’t play what she wants them to. I get that it’s a kids toy but I wish there was a way to disable this function.

High failure rate
My toddler received this as a gift for Christmas. On paper, this is a wonderful and awesome toy with features and engagement that no other can provide. HOWEVER, beware- these fail easily. We are currently on our 3rd exchanged unit which seems to be doing fine for now. But failed blower motors and "stuck" birds have been a repeat problem the units we had changed out. We are thankful for Target's 90-day exchange/ return policy helping us weed out bad units of this toy piano.

Defective
The motor doesn't run so the birds don't fly. Tried new batteries and that didn't work

Hippo pop
Yes, I just bought a piano the Hippo pop and when I got it, it didn’t have the cover for the batteries. I was just wondering if it was possible to order the cover for the batteries for this piano and it needs to screw.

A nice thing
This toy is very cute and fun for kids. It has bright colors and a friendly design that easily catches a child’s attention. The music and buttons encourage children to explore, play, and enjoy sounds in a fun way. It helps develop hand-eye coordination and introduces kids to music through play. A lovely toy that combines learning and fun.

Fun but middle bird stays stuck
For whatever reason, the middle bird doesn't go up like the rest. Still like the toy though.
