This toy is so much fun, many different sounds and styles of music. The engaging tubes with floating birdies is my son's favorite part! Great and entertaining toy that has no loose parts, so it can never be incomplete!!

Malfunction
Son loved all the noises. This was a toy we always had out but unfortunately, after 2 months of use, it malfunctioned and no longer works when turned on. All the lights turn red and make a buzzing noise. Bummed

Piano Fun
Our son loves to play and listen to the hippo piano. What’s also great is how it always seems to sound pleasing to the ear even when you’re playing random keys. The birds flying in the tubes is a cool added touch.

Delivery issue
The package arrived soaking wet from the rain. It was put in the box without any covering. It could have come in its own box or wrapped in plastic. Had to dry it out. May have to return it.

Surprisingly functional piano!
This is the most realistic toy piano I’ve seen! As a musician I really appreciate the functionality- for example, working black keys, the ability to switch octaves, solfège mode, volume and tempo settings. This will grow with my baby and be a great introduction to music!

Hi Laura - Thank you for your feedback. We are wondering if you know about the switch on the back of the piano. It has 3 positions: ON, MOTOR OFF, OFF. If the switch is at "MOTOR OFF", then the birds won't pop. We hope this gets those birdies jumping for your little one again!

This piano has entertained (and survived) two kids
My kids have lived this piano to death. There are multiple settings if you want the birds to fly when pressing the keys or if you just want the lights on. Multiple songs and ways to engage with babies and toddlers alike. I will say the price has gone up since we first got this piano and I can’t say if I would pay more the $35 I think we paid originally. Knowing that it would last through two kids and that would both still love it three years later, I’d consider paying a little more.
