Demeyere Resto 4-cup Stainless Steel Egg Poacher Set

Wow! I love these little poached egg cups and was shocked by the high quality pan and lid! I have searched for a good quality egg poaching pan for decades, but they were all flimsy and didn't cook well. The eggs do stick a little, but a silicone spatula scoops them right out. You do need to use some sort of oil or fat. Well worth the investment!

I have searched all over for a poaching pan. I just received it and am very pleased with the quality of the product. It was difficult to register but when I finally entered the bar code numbers it was quickly found. I usually have a poached egg every day so it will be well used. Very tired of using expensive make shift poaching egg pan itself and balancing them in a pan of hot water. Wouldn't mind the option of the egg pans being plain without the non-stick finish. This pan has a special place in my kitchen. thanks for making it happen

I have tried a number of ways to make poached eggs and finally I have a pan that makes it easier and perfectly done. I am very very happy I purchased this pan. Easy cleanup - easy to use. Perfect

Great sized pan. We use this pan multiple times a week. It's awesome for cooking rice, heating soup, reheating frozen sauce, etc. I really love that the pan is completely smooth on the inside from not being riveted. I hate cleaning and cooking around pan rivets. I honestly I've never used the egg poacher piece that comes with it, but I would've bought the pan regardless if this accessory came with it. At this price point, especially when it goes on sale, this size a demeyere pan is, in my opinion, well worth it.

it works. The cups are a little small, a jumbo egg would probably spill over. An extra large one had just a few remnants of spill over. the handle gets VERY HOT. do not grab it without an oven mitt. otherwise, it is fine

My husband loves poached eggs but I have never been inclined to attempt poaching them. We recently picked up this little pan at the outlet, and I now use it almost every day. The eggs are cooked to perfection, they fall right out of the little cups onto the plate with no sticking, And clean up is a breeze. A very enjoyable purchase.

Unfortunately, this set has only one flaw, but it's huge. The handle on the glass lid is a screw on, and it holds a metal plate, a plastic buffer, and a screw. this DOES NOT seal. Every time I cook eggs, and then wash the unit, there is water stuck between the handle and the metal plate and the screw. I have to get out a screwdriver, undo the whole contraption, etc. I even though of just towel rinsing the lid, but there is so much condensation from the poaching process, there is still trapped water. I would like my money back, but I don't have the box anymore!

I have loved this poacher and use it 4 or 5 times a week. I wouldn't expect the coating to last forever but would like to purchase some replacement cups.
