submitted byNesscee - 8 years agoA: As memory serves, the type of wood is not specified. I can hazard a guess that it is not pine or spruce, based on some properties the wood has. If I were to venture a guess, I would suggest it is from the aspen family.

Q: How is the leaf secured when extended? If it is not physically secured underneath, what is the weight limit of the semicircular leaf section such that it wouldn't accidentally fold back down?
A: The leaf when extended is held up via 2 runner rails. The total weight limit of this table is approx.. 75 lbs.

A: The table top is MDF.

Q: Who is the manufacturer and what kind of wood?
A: It is manufactured in Malaysia. The frame is rubberwood while the table top is MDF.

Q: Do all size chairs fit under the table? Specifically "Laslo Modern Upholstered Faux Leather Dining Chairs." Also what size table cloth can you buy for this table?
A: The table dimensions are as follows:- Without leaf: 29"H x 30"W x 30"L. With Leaf (extended): 29"H x 30"W x 44"L. This table fits normal Chair seat heights of 18"H.
