Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Unflavored Powder

I have been using the unflavored vital proteins for over 2 years. One scoop in my coffee every morning. I used to love this product until now. It is obvious the formula has changed. The powder is a bit thicker and consistency does not mix as well. There is an aftertaste whereas prior there was not. Very disappointed considering I used to love this product.

Have taken vital proteins advanced for 13 days now as stated on the container, question is why is it 13 days serving and not 30 days?

I've been using the Vital Proteins collagen for about 6 months now and do see improvements in my health, but I've also made other dietary and lifestyle changes so hard to attribute the results to any one isolated product like this. I really like the cardboard canisters now, only slightly tricky to get open the first time and "loosen" the cardboard, then a very clear foil seal underneath that to unseal the product. Though I wish they were smaller canisters since the product settles and there's no need to have a gigantic container that is never even half full. I realize I purchased X ounces of product, I'm not mad at the value, I'm just annoyed I need a taller shelf to store it on. :) I use my own tablespoon scoop, easily run through the dishwasher regularly and I don't add plastic waste with a scoop with every canister. I also wish the exact types of collagen and their amounts were called out more clearly, but I suppose if we could easily compare brands then we wouldn't pay for the brand names. But overall this dissolves easily - if I put it in a dry cup and then pour coffee on top I usually don't even need to stir it in. It has no detectable flavor when mixed with my coffee and I love this unflavored version so I could add my own cocoa, cinnamon, matcha, sweetener of choice, milk, etc. as I personally prefer. But I have considered trying the sweetened and flavored single-serve sticks for travel when hotel coffee is bad. I don't need other supplements added here either since those are all available in other forms and you can dose as needed separately.

I used to like this product and have used it for some time. This being said I have reservations about continuing to use it as there is legal jargon on the lid that states by opening and using the product you agree to the”terms and conditions” and agree to enter into mandatory arbitration as set forth….if you don’t agree with the terms you are to return it immediately. Of course this isn’t on the outside where you can make that decision BEFORE you buy it. It is on the inside lid cover that you peel off (under the outer cardboard lid.

New packaging impossible and I think it is the reason it was full of bugs. I’ve been using this product for years and never have had problems like this.

I don’t understand why so many people are giving one-star reviews because of the new packaging. I think it’s great that this company is being more mindful of plastic, and honestly, you have to be kind an ogre if you’re messing up opening and closing this product. Great product and happy to have less plastic containers!

I have been a customer of Collagen Peptides, and wanted to have a product that included Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C but 9.33 OZ at the price I was paying for the Advanced product was disappointing. I will not order it again and will look at other products.

New packaging is very difficult to open!! The picture of the product shows a screw off top NOT a cardboard lid, which does not seal tightly. Very difficult to open the lid. I should not need a website or a video to enable opening. I have loved your product, but will find an alternate that seals tightly.

Why does the 20oz pkg say serving size is 4 tbsp (20 g), when the stick packets say a serving size is 10g?

LAST ONE I will have to change brands. I see your company has been advised that it is near impossible to open your new packaging. Instead of listening to your customers you are doubling down saying how" good this is for the environment. " This has the potential to put you out of business just an fyi. Your product is just not worth the fight.

No matter what I put this in it taste awful!!! Even tried smoothies and less of a dose. Had to throw away.

I lam a long time user and love the product and so so happy about the cardboard packaging. No exposure to plastics and no plastic waste. We use everyday so go through a carton in a couple weeks. I put it in a glass canister on the counter since I use daily. Never commented before but am so happy about the package change. Thank you for leading the way!

This tastes like horse hooves. Not good! Even mixing it with flavored things, I can still taste it. Have tried many options. The closest I can get to masking it is a fruit smoothie. It’s a no-go for me :(

I love the product and love the attempt at using less plastic in the packaging. But, the canister design needs to go back to the drawing board. I am spending the morning cleaning my entire pantry because the cardboard lid can fall off easily and between the cardboard canister being so wide it’s hard to grasp with one hand and the cardboard having a sheen that makes the paper slippery - it’s a mishap that has almost happened several times and today it happened. Will be storing this powder in a different container.

I don't know how there are so many comments on the new packaging, it was super simple to me! I was able to easily open the product initially & it's easy to open and close when I use it each day. I love that the company did away with plastic and opted for a more eco-conscious design! Way to go!

Teaspoons, tablespoons and grams and label instructions, needing some guidance. If one rounded tablespoon of collagen peptides is about 15 grams, then it would follow that 4 tablespoons would be about 60 grams. The label on Vital Proteins Collagen peptides states “serving size 4 tablespoons (20 g)”. Am I missing something? Big difference in teaspoons and tablespoons. I would guess for 20 g dosage, 4 teaspoons would be closer to 20 g.

This collagen powder is amazing! It works so well. I mix it in my morning coffee, and it dissolves so well. There's no taste, and you completely forget it's there. I do see a difference in my skin after finishing the 10-oz container. My skin is more vibrant, brighter, and supple. My fine lines are less deep. My nails seem harder and stronger.tbefore starting this, my nails were more fragile at the tips and prone to breaking. My only issue is that this does not mix well in cold drinks with ice. I've tried mixing this into my Starbucks iced lattes, and when it sits on the ice, I mix it. It stays clumpy and will not dissolve like my hot coffee.
