submitted byHsb - 2 months agoA: plastic scoops are no longer included so they don't end up in the landfill. they had a promo that included a metal one for a limited time. just use a 1 tablespoon measuring spoon
submitted bybabsinPA - 2 years agoA: Hi there! Our Original Collagen Peptides contains one simple ingredient: collagen from grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine. A scoop should also have been included in your canister. If it was missing, please reach out to us at info@vitalproteins.com and reference code 5294-839. We are happy to help!

Q: Is it really tasteless?
A: Hey PattiB, Great question! The Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides is neutral in flavor, making it a great addition to water, smoothies, and other recipes! For all your future beauty questions, get real-time answers using the “Chat with a Virtual Beauty Consultant” button, found on every product page.
submitted byTarget Beauty Consulting - 1 year agoBrand expertA: Yes, I put it in black coffee and cannot taste it.
submitted byMyra - 1 year agoA: Unflavored definitely does not mean tasteless. It has a very pronounced "taste" when mixed with water and quite unpleasant in my opinion. Trial and error mixing I presume.

Q: What is the difference between the powder, and capsules, which is better to take?
A: Thank you for reaching out to us about the Collagen Peptide Capsules! The collagen peptide capsules are a great way to supplement your collagen intake. However, a serving size of the capsules is not equivalent to a serving size of the collagen peptide powder. In order to match the 20 gram serving of the collagen peptide powder you would need to take 36 capsules. If you are looking for a convenient way to take collagen peptides with a higher serving of collagen I would recommend our stick packs. If you have any questions about this please reach out to us at info@vitalproteins.com.
submitted byVital Proteins Team - 3 years agoBrand expertA: Hello Sze66, both are great options. Like liquid supplements, powder is more rapidly absorbed by the body than a supplement contained in pill form. For all your future beauty questions, get real-time answers using the “Chat with a Virtual Beauty Consultant” button, found on every product page! :)

Q: Is this keto/carnivor diet friendly?
A: Hi there! Yes, this product is Keto-friendly containing 9g of healthy fat from the coconut milk powder. Because this product contains plant-based ingredients in addition to the animal-based collagen, this product does not fit the parameters of the Carnivore diet, but you could check out our Original Collagen Peptides that contains one simple ingredient: collagen from grass-fed, pasture-raised bovine. Please reach out to us at info@vitalproteins.com if you have any other questions.

Q: Is this the same Collagen that has Typical Amino Acide Profile ingredients listed Alamine, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Histidine, etc etc etc....these are no longer listed on here
A: Thanks for reaching out! Our Collagen peptides include a combination of 18 essential and non-essential amino acids, including glycine, hydroxyproline, proline and leucine. While we previously provided a “typical” amino acid profile we have opted to remove it from labeling because the amino acids are naturally occurring and can vary from lot to lot. Please be assured that our formula remains unchanged and continues to deliver the same great results you know and love. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
