The Vanilla flavor of the Collagen Peptides used to be a great product (3 ingredients -- Collagen protein, Coconut water powder, vanilla. It was discontinued and this newer version of the Vanilla Collagen is not nearly as good.

I ordered this along with the unflavored and chocolate and will not be buying this one again. I love the chocolate but this is horrible. Does not taste like vanilla at all. I even added it to coffee with some vanilla Starbucks syrup and it still overpowered and made my coffee gross. If you are going to call something vanilla, it should taste something remotely like vanilla! This is a pass for me.

This has a very strong artificial sweetener flavor to it. It is awful! It makes my coffee taste like a vanilla pudding that has been doused in spenda. And it smells like play dough!

I was extremely hesitant to try out this vanilla flavor despite my love for the original, because of all the low reviews on the taste. I think people don’t realize collagen is a protein! This powder tastes like my vanilla pea protein which is great (as great as a protein shake can get) If you are somebody who already doesn’t like the taste of protein powders, avoid this but if you do, I think its awesome and a good way to boost your protein intake while reaping all the beauty skin benefits collagen provides.

I normally like vital proteins collagen, but this particular flavor has one of the most awful after tastes I've ever tasted. I purchased this flavor and have tried it in drinks, and smoothies and no matter where I put it, nothing can mask the awful flavor. I will stick to unflavored over this awful chemical taste any day.

This collagen used to be my absolute favorite. It was my go-to for a protein powder/source that didn't have a weird consistency or taste. At some point they must've changed the formula because it's absolutely DISGUSTING now!!! The taste is so artificial and gross!!! And the texture is clumpier and chalkier. Can't believe they took such a great product and absolutely ruined it. BRING BACK THE OLD VANILLA COLLAGEN!!

The stevia in this product leaves a horrible after taste…and the product doesn’t dissolve well. I’ve been using a mini mixer/frother to mix it into my coffee, but it still clumps. They’ve ruined this product. It used to be better and not have the horrible fake sugar taste. What a waste of my money.

The flavor of this is terrible. I have been using the plain flavor for months now, and am happy with the results. I thought I would try this flavor, and it is awful. Bitterly sweet, and not a vanilla taste at all. I am sorry I wasted my money. I am throwing it out, because it is ruining my morning coffee.

PLEASE...PLEASE bring back the old formula!!! The new one has stevia, oats, and no coconut water!! It is too sweet and you have to use 2 scoops to get the same amount as the origanal version, which was one scoop.

Normally I love Vital Protein's products, but this flavor was so bad. My go-to is the chocolate collagen which is AMAZING but I got vanilla this time to switch it up and I don't think I could ever get this again. The taste was so bad it made me feel kind of sick and my stomach would hurt after having it.
