This product is made of UNFINISHED wood. Not only is that not clear from the product description, the details claim it is "Weather-Resistant," which it obviously isn't. If you're looking for a project to paint or stain, have at it. If you're looking for outdoor furniture you can put together and use immediately, I recommend buying something else.
