A: 6 liters is equal to 1.5 us gallons, a 13-gallon bag would be too big for this unit. A grocery size bag would work.

Simple human trash cans are generally excellent trash cans, but I ordered this online from Target and it arrived loose in the box with numerous other items and was all scuffed up which is annoying. If I wanted an ugly, scuffed up trash can I could have gotten one from the goodwill for less than 1/10th of the price.

This can is perfect for my bathroom. It’s size, shape and finish make it functional and easy to use. It’s great that it is pedal operated and the lid closes slowly so it makes minimal noise. I wanted a lid on the can for so many reasons and the quiet close is an unanticipated and very welcome feature!!!

The quality of the cans were nowhere near what I would expect from Simple Human brand products. The lid didn’t line up with the can and just overall poor craftsmanship. I contacted Simple Human via text. I received a reply letting me know someone would respond to my issue within 1 business day. It’s been 2 business days and I still haven’t heard back from them.

Just redid my kitchen, laundry room and 2 bathrooms. They are all supplied with their own step can. No odors, no smudges. They couldn't be better. One of them (different shape) even has a reservoir for bags inside the receptacle.

As far as garbage cans go this is a nice model. The open/close mechanism is smooth. I like the matte black color. Using in our bathroom and hoping it’s large enough. I’m glad I bought the liners that fit the container because there isn’t lots of plastic hanging outside of it. I have had good luck with simplehuman products!

I have a cat and have used the Simplehuman trash can as a litter collector for years - I mean 14 years. While the trash can itself is still in perfect condition, you can imagine the not so nice smell that has evolved. Thus, time for new Simplehuman Trash Cans. Love your products. Very high quality and very dependable.

I use my new can under the counter in my dog feeding area. Because my dog eats raw food her garbage really stinks. The can is small and easy to use. The lid fits tightly and the liner and odor control pod help a lot. Plus, its pretty.
