Buyer Beware
Disappointed in the finish of this light. It is very flat and just looks spray painted. It is not even a pretty gold. It leans more towards an orangey gold rather than a brassy gold. It took forever to receive it as well.

Beautiful, excellent quality, reasonable price
This lamp was the right size for a large foyer, the light is gentle but efficient and it was simple to install. I would recommend it for anyone who wants an elegant, traditional lamp that discreetly hides the light bulbs.

The quality is good overall for the price. It's heavy and substantial, and doesn't look cheap. Just beware that the glass is not milk glass, as it looks in the photo. Instead, the glass is slightly translucent. Also, the gold is fairly "gold" -- it's not as antique-brass looking as I was hoping.

To be honest, not extremely satisfied with my light fixture. The fixture is well made, but once you get it hung and put a light bulb in, the color of the glass it yellow and not what I expected at all. The picture when purchasing online made the light look like it would give off a fogged appearance when light turned on, but the bottom of the glass shade looks dirty almost. Does not look as nice as I expected and looks cheaper than what I paid for it.
