    I bought 7 of these fans in 2017. 3 went to bedrooms and the remainder in living room (2) and kitchen/living/dining (2). Out of the 7, 3 stopped working in the 2020 and were replaced because the motor cannot be separately replaced. Out of the 4, only 2 work as they are supposed to. 1 fan does not go to the highest speed, it’s stuck maybe on the 2nd speed. The other all the buttons on the remote don’t match the functions. I just randomly press buttons until the fan dies what I need and most of the time I just leave it at that setting and switch on and off at the wall. I don’t recommend this fan. It’s not going to hold up for many years.

    quiet fan, sucks with Homekit

    I purchased 4 of the fans to replace my dumb fans as part of an interior redesign. The fans are quiet except at max speed with no wobble. But the homekit implantation is terrible. I followed instructions have it on a dedicated 2.4ghz. But was only able to add one fan. Once added other fans can't be found. Even tried to add it manually with scanning the number on the QR code. Finally got a second fan added but then the first one that worked now shows non-responsive and no longer shows up on homekit. I was hoping for as long as they have had homekit this would have been more mature on implantation. Hue, nano leaf, Eve, Ecobee even adds accessories without a problem. If you are thinking of these for a smart fan you might want to wait until they come out with a Thread.

    Cannot control light and fan on separate switch

    It’s weird that the fan switch needs to be on to turn on the light switch. Both are on separate switches but you have to use the remote to turn light or fan on or off.

    Hello, since this fan is designed to be operated via the remote. A wired dual switch will not operate as expected. The first switch will act as a breaker for the light and fan, this must remain in the ON position for the remote and second switch to function. This is due to the integrated receiver. ~Stacy

    We are building a house and just installed the Symphony fan. It is beautiful and when we bring people through the house it is the first thing they comment on. They love the fan. I have it in a large room and on the highest setting, it is powerful. It will blow loose papers around. I've only had it a month or so but so far love it. I plan to hook it up to my Homekit and use the smart features.

    Fan is OK. The WiFi connect is awful. Hard to set up, and doesn’t stay connected. The app looks and works like it was done by somebody who was doing their first app. I have a full smart home set up with dozens of connected devices, and this Hunter fan is BY FAR the worst.

    We love our Hunter Symphony 54 inch in Matte Nickel so much that we decided to use the same fan in our remodeling project for our bedroom. We went to order it in either Black or Matte Nickle and found it out of stock. We are so disappointed and are hoping that any day now it will become available in both finishes. Then all we have to do will be to decide between the two colors and order. Our original Symphony fan is in our office and since we work at home we needed a fan that was large enough for the room, had a light for midnight work-a-thons and was silent operating, no matter what speed it was set to. This is far from our first Hunter fans so we knew that we wouldn't be disappointed in any way and we haven't been. Our contractor even mentioned how easy it was to install! The fan really has a contemporary and deco style which is just where we were going in our 25 year old home. Decor and our personal taste has changed so much since we bought our home and we really wanted to update with fans that are timeless. Thanks to Hunter the choice has been easy. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the stock gets replenished quickly and we'll get to order another great Hunter. Many thanks for your outstanding service also. Our order arrived in less than 5 days.

    STILL waiting for the Hunter Simple Connect specialist to call back to try to fix the WiFi errors that won’t let me connect to the fan (another hunter fan bought and installed same time works fine). The regular hunter support couldn’t help, as others have noted in reviews. I bought this fan because it is advertised as working with HomeKit and it doesn’t.

    VERY easy to install. Instructions are mostly clear. Couple items that could be improved: 1) Make the beeps either adjustable volumes or able to turn off - I miss my old Casablanca fan that had different pitch to indicate speed of fan. Overall, the beeps are too loud and not adjustable. 2) I don't like the remote control form factor instruction manual indicates it's the only option. Called Support twice and they had my issues resolved quickly and were very helpful. One call was due to not being able to figure out how to get the dimming LED to dim - it was only going on/off - instructions don't say how to enable/disable. Second item was we got the wrong fan blade screw packs in one of the boxes (ordered multiple of the same fan). Otherwise, the fan itself is great, would definitely purchase again. The dimming light is great. Controls from Hunter app/Apple HomeKit (BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE Hunter 2.0 VERSION) was seamless and couldn't have been easier.

    Added the hunter fan app and connected to 2.4GH. It connected to homekit and now doesn't show up. Add the skill to Alexa but it is still not Alexa enabled. The smart features and integration are poor like the reviews said and the fan is plastic and not metal making the pictures deceiving.

    I love the way this fan looks. It is probably the easiest fan to install out of the 6 hunter fans that I have in my house since it doesn’t have the control module that needs to be wired up. The loud beep should be off by default but could be turned off from the app once you find it. It was easy to connect to the app. The only issue I have with this and the main reason why I bought this fan is for it to work with Google Assistant but it either doesn’t work and or nobody from support knows how to connect it to goggle. I have searched for it on the internet with no luck.

    We are aware of this issue. The current version of the SimpleConnect app does not support google assistant. However, our IT team is working on the problem and we hope to have a resolution soon to this.

    The fan motor is super quiet. The blades when on high speed have a bit of an airplane sound to them, that our son loves. (He's training to be a pilot.) Installation was easy, especially since I was replacing a Hunter fan. Our son had to mess with the phone app a bit to get it to work, but once it was set up, it was easy to work.

    I bought 3 of these fans. The only reason I got these as opposed to different fans was to be able to connect them to my smart home. That’s the only thing they won’t do. Not even Hunter’s own app will work. Nice looking fan. Buy a different one if you actual want the “connected” part. Hunter, the app and all the “connected home” features are as much a part of the fan as the wiring harness and mechanical parts. Get it together.
