My friend got this and it smelled amazing, a nice rose scent. I ordered some online, and the tin I received smelled different/awful. It has a terrible chemical smell, like rancid oil, which makes the rose scent very unpleasant. I will be returning. So disappointed!

Love this! Whenever i shave I get really bad razor burn and irritation after. I have the rose and the lavender and they both immediately soothe my skin. Only thing to note is that it has somewhat of a baby oil consistency after but I don’t mind at all. It stays on for a while :-)

I always come back to this product. It is moisturizing and smells great. It makes my skin feel so soft. I always get compliments when people shake my hand. The scent is not too artificial or overpowering. It smells almost like real roses. However, I think the formula has changed. The past few shipments I received have been whiter in color and smell a little weird. Before, it was more yellow and transparent. Maybe I just got a bad batch. But I hope i can get my hands on those good batches. My boyfriend loves the smell. He always compliments the smell when I put it on. Every time i use this, he always says my skin is so soft.
Moisturizes well but does not smell good once its been on skin a while.

I love this stuff! I originally bought this because it’s black owned. I took a chance with it because it’s sealed and you cannot sample or smell it on the shelf unless someone had tampered with it. I took a chance and I’m glad I did. I apply it all over right after the shower and it goes on smooth even when it’s still cold. It melts very easily and glides over the skin very easy. I use it as my primary skin moisturizer and even have put some on my face. The smell is not overwhelming at all and pairs well with my Rose lotion and Chanel Chance Tendre perfume. It’s a staple to have for anytime of the year. I tend to use more than I should, but a little really goes a long way. But slapping this stuff on leaves my skin soft and smooth all day and not greasy or oily. I tend to have dry skin… so, I hope this helps. It is pretty expensive so you’d think I would be more conscious of how much I use… but, nope lol! :)

It doesn’t smell like roses like the one that use to come in the small tin can (that one was great). This large can one smells awful, and smells greasy. It irritated my eyes. Disappointing they didn’t keep the same quality in upgrading to a larger size can container.

As a black woman, I really wanted to try this to see what was so different about this shea butter, something I'm used to buying in tubs at the grocery store. Well, was I incredibly wrong! This is the most luxurious shea butter I've ever tried! It warms and spreads while rubbing in between hands so smoothly and quickly. It is whipped to perfection and my skin literally feels like a baby's bottom when I apply fresh out of the shower (shea butter locks in moisture). My man can't keep his hands off me while wearing this my skin is just so soft. It gives my skin a nice sheen (not greasy/oily) but a healthy glow. I also love that this is owned by black women (mother and daughter team). I have the rose and vanilla scents and they're both super natural beautiful scents that aren't overpowering and don't irritate my allergies.

I have been buying this scent since May of 2022. The smell was amazing until today! I don't know if this is a bad batch or if this will be how it will smell from now on. Either way, the aroma is horrible now! I will be returning my last purchase for a refund! Bring back the old formula!

Smells gorgeous!!! Packaging is beautiful as well. The product itself lasts a while and the smell is perfect. It says it can liquify above 76 degrees Fahrenheit but I have not had any problems with it even in 90 degree weather.

I absolutely love mother’s shea whipped body butter. This shea butter is the only moisturizer that keeps my heels from cracking. My whole body feels so soft after I apply it to my skin. Smells really good, like roses, it is semi solid so it needs to be warmed up in your hands first. It’s a pretty thick consistency after It’s melted. It does leave skin glow-y and healthy looking.

I took a point off because when it arrived it looked like someone had dug their fingers in it. Target was kind enough to refund the money. I got another can and I most say it’s like putting on a thick silk. It’s thick but glides on well and absorbs.
