Clean ingredients, perfect for hungry teens
I keep these in the freezer for my teenage son, who comes home from school famished. He likes them, the ingredients seem “clean,” and there are more than 20 grams of protein to keep him full. I add some frozen peas before microwave waving to add a bit of green. The portion size is small, so these probably would not make a full meal, but I cook some samosas to have on the side. Like most prepared foods, they are relatively high in sodium so not perfect, but I like that there are no gums or unrecognisable ingredients. I do transfer the food into a glass container before microwaving to avoid heating up plastic, and it comes out easily.

Nope. Tastes Like Vinegar
Yikes! Maybe I got one that had gone bad (I could not find a freshness date), but the label said “zesty” and the sauce tasted like vinegar mixed with curry and the rice was very dry. I am nit a picky eater, but I had to throw it out.

Insane value, best frozen meals on the market! They don't skimp on meat or saucy bits and there's the perfect amount of curry and rice. Delicious and filling. This one is a little spicy, but nothing uncomfortable if you've got an average spicy tolerance. The tikka masala have the same goodness with less spice.

I love these Indian food meals! This one in particular (Chicken Curry) has a little heat to it, so tender mouthed people may need to skip or add lemon to make it tolerable (It's around the same heat as a jarred medium salsa, maybe a little less). I would suggest the Tikka masala one for that (haven't tried the butter yet). Anyway, it's a great little meal when you are craving Indian food, and can't get to a resturant. It doesn't taste fake like jarred "Indian" sauces. I have this with some sliced lemon and a slice of mini garlic naan and I am pleasantly full. I just wish the price was a little bit less so I felt justified to buy them more often! (But it's not that much more that the cheaper meals and this tastes great!)

This ain't your usual TV dinner. Deep, layered flavor and tender tandoori meat you would expect from an Indian restaurant. Even after nuking it, the chicken comes out moist. More of a lunch portion though. If you're starving, this will get you to like 75% of what you actually want, so you will probably want two of these so you can overeat by 25%. Only needs a little salt. Other than that, as good as it will get. Buy it!
