However, for the 2 weeks I’ve had this since it was delivered, my dog is very showing he doesn’t like the taste of it. So we’ve been mixing in his old food and this food to help him manage his weight.

I have a dashhound and a pug both are around 7 years old and they aren’t as active in the winter of course so this food so far has kept them at a good weight plus they love the taste(I like the ingredients). I made the mistake of giving them table food once and I’ve been forced to cook for them ever since as they will not eat anything else. I’ve tried so many other dry as well as wet dog foods but they snub it and will go days without eating anything. So I am here to tell you that my big guy LOVES this dog food. I started by giving them little pieces at a time lime a treat. Success! I have checked out the ingredients and they are far superior to average dog food brands. Lots of extra protein. I’m sold! I have been cooking homemade dog food for my two Frenchies for a while now I gave him a little of this to try, but they're so used to their home.
