The mirrors are heavy, substantial, and quite pretty. The ledge is wide - wider than I’d expected at 2” (it’s probably in the description but I missed it). I would have given the mirror 5 stars, but one of the mirrors we bought had the hangers crooked. We had to remove one of them and readjust it so the mirror was straight. Would recommend and buy again but be warned a out the crookedness possibility.
