When deciding, please note that the picture is deceiving. Upon closer reading (I missed this) it is clear glass not amber as pictured which truly looks different. The picture looks more old world, the clear glass doesn't. I used smaller watt bulb so that it wasn't so harsh. Other than that it is a nice lamp just not as nice as pictured.
Good choice looks good on the house.

I replaced a 30 yr old light with this classy one. It's affordable. It's amber glass, I think, reduces bug attraction. It was easy to install using my existing wiring, and since I chose a similar size and shape to what I had before, there was no additional work for me.
