Q: Can this be used on granite to remove light line?
A: Our CLR Brilliant Bath product is safe to use on sealed Granite. Granite is the only natural stone our product can be used on, but with any product always spot test first!

Q: Will this remove rust stains in sinks and tubs
A: No, our CLR Brilliant Bath product is formulated to remove hard water (calcium/lime) & soap scum but not rust. The only one of our products that contains the necessary chemicals necessary to remove rust (in addition to calcium/lime/soap scum).

Q: Why can it only be used on white grout?
A: Our product contains acids which can affect the tint of colored grout (any other color than white) which can result in the grout color leeching onto surrounding tiles making it very difficult to remove.

Q: It's safe to use for grout, but would it stain a cream colored tile?
A: While our CLR Brilliant Bath is safe to use on porcelain or ceramic tiles, regardless of its color, our product cannot be used on colored grout, any other color than white. As with any product, we always recommend spot testing first.

A: Yes, it's safe on stainless steel and effective in removing soap scum.

Q: Can this product be used on cultured marble shower walls?
A: We do not recommend using any of our products, effective in dissolving mineral deposits and/or soap scum on cultured/artificial marble. Cultured marble contains real marble dust and our products are not compatible with that material.
