  • A: I had the same problem!! As a last resort, I took the whole pump off, washed/dried it off and held on to the piece that stays in the bottle so the top Wouldn't turn. It eventually worked.

    A solid drugstore pick with minor flaws...

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that Native’s drugstore formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and transparently explained right on the bottle. The slim packaging gives off total spa vibes and won't leak in a gym bag. The clear gel froths into a rich, creamy lather that leaves my skin super soft without feeling tight or stripped. It completely transports you to a tropical island like you're sipping straight from a fresh coconut, though I don't really detect any vanilla. It's not overpowering like their old Sugar Cookie scent, so it's perfect if you get fragrance headaches. The main drawback is that the scent basically vanishes the second you leave the bathroom. It also has zero exfoliating ingredients, so it won't help with KP. In fact, because the formula relies on salts for thickening, it can actually dry out sensitive skin over time and make KP bumps look worse. If you have very dry skin, you'll definitely prefer a milky wash, or you'll need to follow up with a thick body lotion in winter. For a basic, bubbly shower, it's a solid 4-star pick, just don't expect the fragrance to linger after you towel dry.

    Classic Comfort Scent for Sensitive Skin

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Native has been a favorite ever since the brand came out and when I was given the opportunity to try and review the Coconut & Vanilla Body Wash, I seized it. This scent is one of the original options that Native started with and in my opinion, still one of the best. The scent is light, clean, and reminds me of summer (although I would use it year-round). The rectangular shaped bottle takes up little shelf space and is easy to squeeze and dispense the body was from. The shape also makes it convenient for getting every last drop of the product out and in this economy, that's a huge bonus. A quarter size amount of the wash liquid creates a large amount of suds, enough to lather your whole body a few times over. It rinses away cleanly without any residues left on your skin. I always feel clean, refreshed, and my skin feels soft and moisturized after using Native Body Wash. This wash is safe for most skin types including sensitive, as it is sulfate, dye, paraben, and phthalate-free. I have tried a variety of scents, but the Coconut & Vanilla is a classic that I will always come back to.
