it dries pretty fast on damp hair, but for girlies with thick or semi thick straight hair, it honestly doesn’t do much that a hair dryer can’t do. the “volume” it gives is not worth 40 dollars.

I was so excited that this model was an improvement on the older model. My old one had been used so hard, the bristles were bent and falling out. The plus model is lighter, but not as powerful. It doesn’t get as hot, which means it doesn’t set the style in my hair well. It ends up being bent near the roots, especially underneath. It’s fluffy, but not in a smooth, voluminous way.

I expected a learning curve to get used to the tool and produce adequate results. HOWEVER the first time I used it the functionality was intuitive and the results were INCREDIBLE! Styling my hair typically takes 30+ minutes (which I rarely take the time to do), but straight out of the shower this tool took me less than 20 minutes. Moreover, my hair has NEVER looked this sexy! I had the original Revlon one step from several years ago. The brush bristles got worn down over time so it was time to buy a new one. This is feels much lighter than the original one, it’s easier to use and has more than one heat setting, which is great. And the removable head allows me to just change out the brush when it gets worn down instead of having to buy a whole new hair tool.
