Q: Can I Stack 2 of these on top of each other?
A: Get a 3/4" PVC pipe and cut to the needed length and use it as a sleeve to connect the 2 units. Very solid connection. Paint to match.
submitted byTerri - 8 months agoA: I popped out the top plastic inserts & put the 2. shelf on top. I taped the bottom & top shelf together with electrical tape from the top to the bottom shelf & put light stuff on the top shelf.
submitted byJessy - 4 years agoA: i don't think so. I just bought another one, I tending to do that and the top of the support stands don't have a way to attach to the base of another set, which really bums me out.

submitted byScott - 10 months agoA: I have stacked two units by using a dowel rod inside the 4 posts. I believe I used a 1/4” diameter dowel rod, 48” long for each post. I placed the dowel rod in the lower posts the placed the upper posts on the rods.

Q: Is there an option - is it compatible - to add castors instead of “feet” to the bright room metal shelving?
A: You can add castors instead of the self- leveling feet. I believe I ordered 1/4" - 20 x 1 casters with Brake
submitted byPinky010 - 7 months agoA: You can screw in castors instead of the leveling feet. I'm not sure if the threads are 1/4-20 or M6-1.0 so just take one of the leveling feet to the hardware store and check what thread size they are.

Q: Are the plastic sleeves supposed to actually snap together or???? This is impossible to put together. The box was glued so tight I had to destroy it just to get the shelf out. Now the sleeves won't evensnaptogether
A: I had the exact same issue!
submitted bySa11 - 3 years agoA: The plastic sleeves need to face "Top" when snapping together - they are wider at bottom than top, and don't fully snap together until slides up or down on the post into the groove.
submitted byKate - 3 years agoA: The plastic sleeves snap into the grooves on the uprights, at 1" intervals. By not using the grooves the shelves will be subject to sliding if enough weight is placed an individual shelf.

Q: How do the adjustable shelves work? Is it possible to decrease the overall height?
A: I adjusted my shelves so that the top shelf was lower than the total height, however the 4 poles will still be 30.63" high. You can put the shelves at any height.

Q: Are the levelers adjusted by screws on the bottom, clockwise/counterclockwise to adjust up or down...in other words it is manually adjustable not self adjustable to level?
A: Great answer the bottom or legs have manual adjustable screws on the feet to raise or lower on uneven flooring to level....thanks

Q: How does self leveling work?
A: I don't know what they mean by "self leveling" because the leveling feet are screwed in manually to adjust the height of each leg.

Q: What is the diameter of threads on leveling feet?
A: Take one of the leveling feet to a hardware store that has a thread checker display. I'm not sure if they're 1/4-20 or M6-1.0.

Q: What is the clearance height between shelves?
A: If you are asking how "thick" the shelves are, they are about an inch thick. You will need to allow for this when spacing them on the adjustment grooves.
