Q: Can I use this shelf in my shower?
A: If it is going to get wet, probably not the best application. It would not install in a plastic or tile surface If you have a drywall surface, you could install it, but the nails are not rust-proof. The shelf itself is aluminum and will not rust.

Q: Can the shelf be cut to shorten it? ie. Purchase a 24" shelf then cut it to 22.5"? If so, what type of blade is recommended?
A: You will need a large chop saw, about 12" diameter blade. You might try a band saw but the cut will not be clean.

Q: I'm only seeing an option to adjust length. How do I adjust desired depth? I'm interested in the 6" deep shelf
A: Hi, for the 6" Depth, look for the shelves that are "Reversible (link below)." That depth is 5.875" deep with the extruded safety lip, and 6.375" deep when "reversed" so the top shelf is seamless. Q: how long are the nails? i'm trying to figure out how far into the wall they need to go.
A: Hi Chloe, the nails are 1" long. The bracket has pre-drilled holes which guide the nails at a specific angle. You will hammer them in completely until they meet the bracket. They will then pierce the drywall paper which gives the shelf its strength. Hope this answers your question! If not, feel free to call our offices at 818-610-0487 M-F 8-5 Pacific, or email info@hangmanproducts.com. Thank you!

Q: Can I use this on concrete walls? The nails look a little too small to hold up a shelf in concrete.
A: Hi Chelsea, no, the nails are only good for drywall and paneling. If you email us directly at info@hangmanproducts.com, we can provide you with hardware that can work in concrete walls. Thank you!
