I love the simple look of this fan and the motor is super quiet, though the blades start to make some noise above speed setting 3. However, after 3 1/2 years the motor is making a noise, sounds like the bearings are going. Disappointing.

I purchased 4 fans as a result of a renovation product- turns out they do not work after a little less that 18 months. Not worth the price. Now I have to replace the fans. Do not purchase.

This fan is very quiet, love the speed options and really did the job nicely on a covered porch in SC. Then it literally just stopped working 2 years almost to the day of purchase. Looking for another manufacturer to replace and will not go back. I am an architect/designer and involved with purchases of this kind on a daily basis, so was told in the industry MinkaAire was reliable.
