Ted Lasso Party Game

We love Ted Lasso and thought the game would be fun. We read the instructions multiple times. We watched the video. We still did not understand nor did it seem like it would be fun. Incredibly disappointing!

This is good basically as a novelty item for someone who collects Ted Lasso. The game itself is crazy complicated. Pretty sure Ben Wyatt from Parks & Rec created it after Cones of Dunshire!

Very confusing and not for kids. Cute design, horrible game concept.

As people who love the show, we thought this would be fun. It was not. The directions are long and incredibly confusing. Even after reading it multiple times and watching the video we still had no idea how to play. Once we figured it out (I think) it was still boring and we don’t understand the concept. Would not recommend.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. So disappointing how difficult this game was. Do not buy.

Live the show, was excited to play with my family who also loved it and for the life of me cannot figure out the game. Read the instructions, watched the video, still nothing. Couldn’t even figure out a fun hack way to use the cards to do something fun with them. To those that have said how easy it was I feel like they just played with the cards and didn’t actually try and play the game as directed because it’s not fun…at all.

This game has the most confusing rules. We read the rule book, watched the informational video explaining the rules and could not figure out the objective of the game. The game has a cute set up but three adults could not figure out how to play the game. Stick to a classic board game.

I love Ted Lasso, so I love the idea of this game, but I honestly found the instructions somewhat difficult to follow. I think after playing a few times, I’d get the hang of it. But I don’t think it is a pickup and play right away.

If you are a fan of Ted Lasso, you will love this game. Easy to play and plenty of quotes from the show. Loved even the details of the inside of the box being the pitch. My husband and his friend are huge Ted Lasso fans, and they absolutely loved this game.

We played this at a game night with friends. The set up took a minute but once set up it was fun. Really reminded us of the show. The game pieces are extremely cute. Love the shape of the dice. This is a game that we will keep in our game night rotation.

Ok so first off, the setup is pretty crazy. It's so many steps. Getting to the playing part takes a bit. At that point I'm not sure I still want to continue. It seems like it's be a great team building game for coworkers but not something really enjoyed by my family, which includes a ten year old. The pieces are really detailed and colorful and interesting. I really wanted to like it. I also have never seen the show.

This is a really fun way to spend an evening with friends. We are huge Lasso fans so I was excited to get this. Turned out to be very entertaining and made for some good laughs. Would definitely recommend.

The packaging for this game is utilized to the max! Everything is well made and all the game pieces are super cute. The issue I have with this game is the long setup and the extensive instruction. Even after reading the included instruction and visiting the website to watch the suggested video, I found myself overwhelmed. I love the idea of the game, the box being a soccer field, the soccer shaped die, biscuit box and all the game pieces. I would suggest this game to someone that has the patiences to make it through long set up and instructions.

Ted Lasso is a great show. This game, has fun reminders of this wonderful show, but the game isn't something I would want to play like my favorite games. I would rather watch the show again. It has fun aspects, and is easy to play.

My family aren’t big sports fans (myself included) and we don’t follow the TV show this game is based on, which probably didn’t help us have a decent grasp of how to play let alone enjoy it much. I’m neutral; maybe if we were fans of the show or actually cared about sports we might have better understood what we were doing.

If you love the show, you will love this game. Great for a larger group to team up and play. You could even make this a drinking game. Makes me want to watch the show over again! In fact, I would recommend rewatching to brush up. It reminded us of so many funny scenes we loved and had forgotten.

A really fun game for a larger group, especially if you love the show. But isn’t necessary to have watched in order to play the game. It took us a bit to figure out the directions since no one had played before and it was a little complicated (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) but once we got the hang of it we loved it! And it was easier to explain to others the second time we played it.

A great game of an amazing TV show! Beloved as a show for millions of viewers, now a family fun game. Good for all ages and family. Solid packaging and card stock of cards. Super fun for everyone! Enjoy!

I got this game and was wondering how much it would correlate with the show and if it would be actually fun to play, I was pleasantly surprised! The characters and events align with one of my favorite shows and is fun for all players.
