This Dyno Minka fan was easy to install, lower profile with LED lighting. Minka fan motors continue to hum even using their electronics. They should us motors built in the US which match our electric grid, it may make the motor less noisy.

The fan is very quiet and does well on the different settings. My only compliant is that the light only generates a narrow beam of light in the middle of the room. It is very bright, but more of a spot light than a general light. The corners of the room are dark.

I bought this fan for a bedroom and it looks great, works smoothly and quietly and the price fit my current budget. The reverse switch is on the fan housing but I wish it had a switch on the remote. I know Minka's fans that are priced above this one have that feature. Luckily the fan is easily reachable with a small step ladder. Definitely recommend.

I understand that screens can alter the color but this is way off. I thought I was ordering a fan that was a light wood color. I wish they would have said “grey” at least somewhere in the description. I purchased it for a remodel which has to be completed on time. Now I’m jumping thru hoops to paint the blades myself. One word “grey” could have prevented all this.
