Q: In the specifications, it says there are 6 pieces in the set. It then says a quantity of 2 of bin 1 and 2 of bin 2 (2+2=4); then it says "Included" is 3 bins and 3 lids. Which is it?

I love these!!
I have quite a few of these and they all work. The older one with the tray in the bottom works best, These are especially helpful during canning season when I pick my beans. I can keep the beans in the containers until I have enough beans for a canner full. I cannot tell the difference between the beans picked 3-4 days ago and the ones I picked today. It recommends that items not be washed before placing them in here, so I save the tray one for the lettuce that gets washed first. Would it be possible to buy the trays separately??

The old ones working better than the new style. We need to bring back the old style where the bottom tray keeps the fruit and vegetables from getting soggy. You're not saving money by not adding the tray inserts. If I knew now about the product change, I would have purchased them ahead of the change. Go back to the other design. I need new containers but just not the new ones.

Old version design far superior
Visited a family member who had the old version with a insertable raised bottom that separates moisture from making contact with the fruit. Worked great. Fruit held up for a week. Bought the new version with dimples on the bottom. Two days later fruit was soggy and no longer good. Don’t recommend the new version.

Water does accumulate at the base resulting in not so fresh vegetables!

New version is not effective
The previous version with the separate spacer in the bottom works far better than the perforated version. I tossed the perforated ones and just use my older ones. I’ll look for another product, I’m very disappointed.

Stackable and Convenient Organization
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to hear about Rubbermaid's Fresh Works Produce Saver products because our produce always seems to go "bad" too fast. I really like the size options and the design. They're stackable and a convenient design for refrigerator or counter. They include a "lifetime filter" that helps "regulate the flow of O2 and CO2 to create optimal environment for your fresh produce". So far, they've worked great at keeping our produce fresh. I'm excited to see how well they work during the upcoming hot, humid weather.

Really liking these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These containers solve the problem we have in our household of veggies going bad before we get through them. I suppose the better solution would be to eat veggies more often. Fresh spinach has the tendency to wilt on the bottom of the container. This container is well thought out with the bumps on the bottom allowing for air circulation to prevent wilt. Haven’t used it for other veggies yet but these will become our go-to for fresh produce. Really like that the containers (including lids) can be thrown into the dishwasher—no need to disassemble the filter portion.

Perfect size!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely buy for your lettuce! I usually just have it hanging out in the bag and it goes bad quickly. This container gave us a few extra days of lettuce use! The lids fit great and come off easily. They wash well too. I only use Rubbermaid containers for storage based on quality for use over a long period of time.

Very nice containers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bowls are good for storing produce in. I have used them to store a variety of different vegetables and salads. They all stayed fresh longer than they would have sitting in the refrigerator without being in a container. I give these bowls an A+.

Works great

However, I do not love having to throw them away in a couple of days because they have gone bad despite being refrigerated. I first tried these containers out with strawberries. When I bought them they were perfectly fresh. This morning I had some for breakfast, four days later, and they were still perfect. These are definitely worth it.

They seem to make the grapes last longer as well. The only downfall is the lids don’t seem to snap on well so it makes you think they aren’t fully on.

Freshness that lasts

I keep the others in these amazing containers and they last so long! Our blueberries stay soft and plump. Not dried out or gross. Lettuce keeps its color and no wilting. These are awesome containers to keep handy for all kinds of fruites/ vegetables.
