A: Thank you for your question. Only those products with "Organic" on the label will be certified USDA Organic. No varieties of Bob’s Red Mill oats, regardless of if they are conventional or organic, are treated with glyphosate. While we do not do random sampling or testing, Bob’s Red Mill has agreements in place with our oat suppliers stating that we do not accept oats treated with glyphosate. We proudly carry both conventional and organic product offerings, and in fact, glyphosate application is not approved for use by organic growers. We acknowledge that it is possible for trace amounts of glyphosate to be present even in grains grown organically, due to herbicide drift from other, non-organic farms. However, we work to make sure all oat suppliers comply with our Quality Assurance standards and guidelines for our products, and we meet with them regularly to go over these contracts and make certain they understand our standards.
