Indoor Plant Love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Back to Roots indoor potting mix to replant my hypoestes plants. One thing I like about the mix is that it’s an organic mixture and doesn’t contain chemical salts, which if it did contain could build up in the soil and would require flushing out on occasion. The mix contains coco coir which helps to maintain moisture in the soil for plants that require it. In the picture you can see that the soil is mixed with crushed perlite that aids in aerating the soil for root health. My hypoestes plants are healthy and growing. I will be using this mix to repot my monstera, too.

Great for my indoor plants.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soils has a clean appearance and practical features that support indoor plants well. Its durability helps maintain structure over time, and it offers good value for organic use. My recommendations are to loosen it before use and monitor watering. This size bag is good to set up your indoor plants.

Seems like a decent mix
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a potting mix aimed at indoor plants. At least right now it seems decent. It is a I guess looser soil mix, light and airy sort of compared to other indoor mixes I have used. I ended up using some of this to refresh the soil ina catnip plant I have had for years. Then the rest to start a couple of indoor plants from seeds. So far they seem to be growing fine. The soil takes and holds moisture well. No signs of potential nutrient issues so far, will see in a few months when the plants are fully in their growing stage if they start showing signs of needing a boost or not.

Compact soil
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Returning to Roots Organic Indoor potting mix, this soil incorporates perlite for aeration and drainage. It is composed coconut core and yucca extract blended with organic plant food. The soil maintains moisture for several days, making it in to a chunky soil mix. The scent is reminiscent of the earth not moldy

Small package but mighty results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrown off initially by the small package but I am really impressed by this potting soil. It was time for some repotting, so I could put this to the test. You can immediately tell a difference when you open the package. Organic material, dark, rich soil and no cheap filler like other brands. After watering a few days later, the soil still felt moist and hydrated. Other brands would already be drained and dry. Will definitely continue to use.

This soil had a great light texture and my plants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a really good experience using this potting mix. The texture is light and easy to work with and spread around in any size pot you’re using. So this made setup super easy especially when I had to repot my plants. It spreads evenly it doesn’t feel overly dense or clumpy. Functionally it holds moisture well while still allowing for good drainage so my plants aren’t sitting in overly wet soil which could hurt more than help I most plants. Since repotting my plants seem super happy in their new dirt. Maintenance has been super easy when needed since the soil stays light and doesn’t compact quick it’s helpful if I need to check the roots.

Great soil for starting seeds indoors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Back Rooms Organic Indoor Potting soil to start my garden before moving plants outdoors later. I planted organic tomatoes, cucumbers, yellows squash, zucchini, okra, and I also repotted a Christmas cactus. The soil feels rich, clean, and easy to work with. It holds moisture well while still staying light and fluffy-perfect for getting everything planted and started. 🌿

Only time will tell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Time will only tell how well this works but, so far there’s no bugs flying around my house like they own the place! The texture is like well, dirt but not that gross stuff that’s all blues together that smells funky the second you open the bag. It seems like very healthy dirt from my experience. Nothing like Miracle grown at all.

High Quality Soil
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really great indoor potting soil. My plant badly needed to be split and replanted and I couldn’t be happier with the texture and purity of Back to the Roots. The packaging was durable: it was shipped without a box - just a mailing label on the bag, that’s how durable it is! There is plenty of soil left for maintaining the proper level once the plants are watered a few times.
