Mr. Coffee One-Touch Coffeehouse Espresso Cappuccino & Latte Maker Black

I’ve had three of these machines. The first one had the frother completely stop working after 10 months. The second one had the control panel fail after 5 months, with one button flashing non-stop and no controls operational. The third one failed spectacularly after only three months, with the machine overheating and beeping, the control panel flickering, and all buttons suddenly non-responsive. I had followed all recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures to the letter with all three machines. It’s so unfortunate that these break with no warning, because I loved how easy this machine was to use, and I really enjoyed the lattes it made! But after having three machines break in such a short period of time, I know I didn’t just get a “lemon.” There is, unfortunately, a problem with how this machine is manufactured, and I couldn’t recommend it to anyone, because it WILL break before you get your money out of it.

1.Milk reservoir does not readily snap into place. 2. The porta filter does not readily latch on. 3. When the machine is switched from one function-say cappuccino to frothing milk, it sometimes freezes and makes a knocking sound. It has to be completely turned off and on again. 4. This is not for someone with busy mornings.

Holy heck. This is everything I could want. I’m a barista and this is perfect. I’m in love.

Makes a great cappuccino or latte. I tried two other lattee makers and returned both. This is easy to take apart and clean, easy to use, and the drinks are great! I would highly recommend this product.

The speed in making cappuccinos, lattes, and espresso.

Purchased two of these and both didn't work and broke down after a couple of days. The first one i purchased, the frother stopped working after the 2nd day. The second one doesn't work on the cleaning function which I'm sure will eventually lead to other issues. Loved it when it worked but the parts are cheaply made. The water containers leak also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I did not give this espresso machine five stars because iy was a bit challenging to use, once we figured out how to use, we made espresso and cappuccino, espresso was fine but when hsing it for the cappuccino, the milk did not come out very foamy, and it only lets you poor a little but of milk, wish we can change this for people that like their cappuccinos much lighter, other than that it is a very nice looking product.

I love the touch censored buttons. The Reservoirs for the water in the milk are large enough To make so many cups of coffee. It comes with two sizes shots, one shot or double shots. I love how are you can either choose the automatic settings or make your own.

The amount of work that goes into brewing an espresso, latte, or cappuccino is too involved for me to enjoy often. However, I have used this once when a friend came over for a morning visit. It was pretty cool to make our own lattes in the comfort of my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mr. Coffee brand has always been one I like, and they did not disappoint with this machine. I like Lattes and my husband likes espresso, so this gives us both what we want. I was able to use it with no issues. I like the program buttons since I don't have to think about anything when I use them, and I can walk away since it auto stops for me. I also like that it does have the reservoirs for the milk and water. The nozzle is easy to point to the cup I have in there and there has been no spills so far. The speed of things being made seems about average with other brands of this price range. For me it could be a little easier to take apart for cleaning. But overall, the ease of use is good, means even my daughter can use it and I can use it. We will have to see how it holds up to a household of three. We do clean and dry things out the best we can after we know we are done using it for the day.

The machine does have a learning curve to it, but once you have it down, you have it down. The machine is easier to clean then I expected. The drinks are delicious, and now It allows me to save some money and time in the mornings.

I struggled a bit to actually figure out how to get it to work. But because it's a great machine, ultimately, it has a few little nags that I would love to see fixed/improved in a future model. My pros list may seem much shorter than my cons list, but that's only because there isn't much to be said about the pros that haven't already been said many times - it makes a great cup of coffee, with little work on my end, and cleans up easily afterward. What I like: * Extremely easy to clean. The brew unit, the milk frother, etc. All of it comes apart easily and can be quickly rinsed in the sink. * Makes a great cup of coffee with little work on my end. * Milk frother is very simple, easy to clean, and yet does a great job of frothing the milk. * Machine feels sturdy, high-quality, and I suspect it will last a long time. It has probably been used 3-5 times daily without any hiccups. * There is a lot of wasted space on this machine if you open it up. The water reservoir is very narrow and doesn't hold much water. The reservoir is just bad. More on that in my next point. * The reservoir. Whoever designed this part of the machine totally and completely missed the mark. It almost feels like an afterthought. It's shallow and oddly shaped. It doesn't hold much. The shape/design of it causes a lot to get stuck in the container. And worst of all, it doesn’t naturally flow. * I either wish the large size made a larger cup of coffee, For example, a custom button that would allow me to brew one large cup, and then one medium cup. I find one large single brew is not much coffee, but two fill my cup to the brim. So, I wind up doing 1 large one, waiting for it to finish, and then doing a medium one. Would be nice to be able to do this with one button press. * Brewing from pre-ground beans is annoying. I keep all of my decaf in ground form since the hopper can only accommodate one type of whole bean at a time. If I'm brewing multiple cups of decaf for guests It's minor but annoying. Overall, it's a fantastic machine. I use it every day, multiple times per day, and it has paid for itself in convenience and cost-savings from buying coffee many times over already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my One-Touch Coffeehouse just prior to having to rush off to Ireland for an extended stay due to a family emergency. Ireland in the past 5-7 years has pivoted from tea to coffee so I went to a lot of coffee shops while there. They also only serve espresso based coffees. In the past I was not thrilled with this as their coffee is too strong but they now have milk substitutes so I was able to order lattes and cappuccinos. I couldn’t wait to get home to try my Mr Coffee machine. It did not disappoint! I keep oat milk in the milk reservoir in the fridge and pull it out whenever the mood hits for a “fancy” coffee. I was skeptical about the one touch feature but it truly is just pushing one button. You do not need to have any knowledge of how to make these drinks. My only tip is to only lightly pack the coffee in or you’ll end up less coffee in your cup. I am super impressed that I can have the convenience of a Keurig while enjoying a coffee shop quality drink!

Not only does it make Espresso but Cappuccino and Latte right from my own home with just one touch! It is so easy to use and makes coffee anything comparable at a coffee house. The White is so modern and clean looking. Clean up is super easy as well. I'm addicted to using this every morning. Makes waking up so much more satisfying. Way to go Mr. Coffee!

I have been looking for a one touch multi-purpose coffee machine that does it all and I am happy to report that I finally found one that surpasses all of my expectations. Not only can I make coffee, cappuccino, expresso, and lattes, but I can do it with a touch of a button and it is super easy to use. I love the sleek and modern look of the machine and that it does not take up too much space on my counter. I really like using the milk frother to complete my drinks. This machine has so many great features. I am amazed by how easy cleanup is. Every drink I have made has tasted so good. I highly recommend this product if it will not disappoint and because it works so well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one-touch coffee unit makes delicious coffee, there’s no question about it! We’ve had the pleasure of using a true one-touch espresso machine that includes grinding the coffee, and this is not that. There’s a little effort needed to be able to enjoy a delicious latte, but something my wife and I are willing to do! We are however still working on the right grind (we like getting beans and doing our own grind). We pretty much stick with the double shots. I would like an easier way to clean the filters that also allows us to compost the used grounds which doesn’t seem possible? All in all, this makes great coffee and would highly recommend!

We drink so much coffee, we really wanted this to work. It's just barely ok. We tried various Espresso coffees and they all tasted like a dirty sock. But, when we purchased ESE pods, that it takes, the coffee tasted pretty good. Don't double them up though, they will get jammed. Milk frother is ok but the best product that actually froths the best is almond milk creamer. For me, this machine is a hard pass. It takes too much work for something that is supposed to be one touch.

This unit has made my mornings just that much sweeter. The only issue is deciding which drink to create! I used to be just a coffee only drinker but this unit gives me options. The setup and startup instructions were quick and simple. I look forward to having a different drink everyday!
