Crafted of E1 MDF with a weathered finish and powder-coated metal, this lift-top coffee table sports a distinctly rustic industrial feel. The split tabletop consists of a gas lift top that can be elevated to 24” and a fixed surface. This smart design helps bring the tabletop to you and allows you to work or dine without leaning forward. A simple setup is required for this lift-top coffee table. Other reviews are right that assembly is difficult. I found a couple tricks that helped me out a lot, though! If you read through the instruction booklet, you'll see that there are some steps where you need to use a screwdriver to screw pieces together. But if you look at the wooden pieces, they don't have pre-drilled holes - instead, there are small points of soft wood you're supposed to bore into. What I did was, before I attached the pieces with the screws, I took an electric screwdriver and just screwed the screws into position. Then I removed them again right away. This left holes in the wood that made it much easier to finish assembling the pieces together! An electric screwdriver is easier than a hand screwdriver for those steps as well, so I recommend using one.

The table is sturdy, and some what easy to put together(if you have two people). The screws inside the table were a bit trick because they are hard to see and there is not much room to move. Overall this is going to be a great table to for our main family room. This was perfect for or virtual school day. I was able to lift the table and teach right from my family room with plenty of room for all my materials.

It looks good. But it was hard to put together. Instructions were just drawings with part numbers and arrows. Lift mechanism was hard to assemble and pre drilled holes were too shallow to start screw easily. Also hard to reach to screw in the screws. All the parts were there and in good condition. Even had extra of each type screw. Came with screwdriver and all needed tighteners.

Absolutely beautiful ristic brown colour coffee table with sufficent storage to store coffeee ingredients! This is truly amazing and i love it from the very first time i discovered it and the reviews online concreted that i had to get one of these beauties!
