This is because it may pose a choking risk and could also lead to overfeeding. Our cereals are designed to be prepared with a spoon-fed texture and are best introduced when your little one is developmentally ready to begin solids – usually around 6 months, unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional.     This is NOT for as little as six months. DON'T start your baby on this....I've been using Kendamil formula for my son for a while, so I tried this cereal because I trusted the brand. I started slow, but after the 3rd day, my son was inconsolable and crying every single time he pooped. I couldn't do anything. It was horrible. Babies aren't supposed to drink whole milk so young, and I didn't know that until my mother told me when she saw it on the box.

    Healthy and tastes good, reliable

    We’ve been feeding this to our now toddler since she started solids over a year ago. It has always worked well for us. Of course now she’s almost 2 and eats a variety of foods but it’s nice to keep a box of this on hand just in case. It tastes really good and creamy and I appreciate that it’s iron fortified. It does contain dairy so need to make sure there is no dairy allergy prior to feeding this.

    great oatmeal! as others said dissolves into water easily with a nice texture and consistency. box has directions but allows for thickness adjustment; lasts a while too if not feeding every day. please note there is wheat in this product; it was a little surprising to see this on the ingredient list. my baby doesn't have issues with wheat, but this may cause hives if your baby has a wheat allergy/sensitivity

    Gave my grandchild hives

    Granddaughter broke out in a rash and hives. She threw up twice and this gave her diarrhea. Never again will I purchase this. Please do your research before giving your child this oatmeal. There are better choices that don't have so many reviewers with a reaction.

    Hi, we’re so sorry your little one was in pain; that’s the last thing we want. While many babies do well with Creamy Oatmeal, every tummy is different and iron-fortified cereals can occasionally firm stools. If you’re open to trying again later, you could make the cereal a little thinner, start with smaller portions, and pair with “tummy-friendly” fruit like pear or prune purée. If constipation or discomfort continues, or fewer wet nappies, please speak with your pediatrician/health visitor.

    14 month old throwing up after eating this cereal

    Made my 14 month old vomit after a few hours of eating a few spoons of this and two days later still bad diarrhea. Avoid this cereal!

    Maybe good for your baby, but not for my boy!

    I was hoping my son would like this cereal but unfortunately he got a rash. I tried for a week giving it a chance but nope my baby got a bad rash on face, neck and neck.
