The ivory panels didn't darken room as expected. I exchanged them for brown curtains that look great and block out light effectively. Ivory blackout curtains don't actually block out light.

I bought these in the gold color. The drapes came out really wrinkled from the package which was okay because I steamed them with my hand steamer. Afterwards they looked really nice hanging in my dining room, but they were advertised looks and feels like silk. They do not feel like silk at all, more like burlap, however they do look nice and I like the gold light that shines through them. usually guests don't go around touching your drapes but I'm going to try to soften them in the wash anyway. If it works I will probably keep them. I bought four panels so they look really full and the price was right, but I guess I should have known they wouldn't feel like silk.
