The 1st one I ordered didn't hoot & was missing the pointed in-ground stake so I called and was told they would send another. It had the same part missing & it hooted on my kitchen table but not once in the garden. My neighbor discovered the missing stake nestled INSIDE the larger post. The problem was with the instructions (made in CHINA, of course!)

The owl does not hoot and the eyes do not light up. I use them as decoration in the garden because it is a pain to go through the return process. However, it is highly unlikely that I will buy from this company again.

The owls were supposed to respond to movement by flashing their eyes and making a sound. After charging them in the sun for days, they did not respond. If you want an owl statue, buy this product. Since I bought two owls, I'm guessing none of them work. Both of mine are dead!

Put it in my garden and it just make a very low noise even when the sun is out. Other times it doesn't work at all. Very disappointed.

I have tried this thing twice and both were pure failures! One kind of worked for maybe a week then totally went out so the replacement was sent and it never worked at all! How they get away with selling crap like this is beyond me! Collections, you can do better!

The brown owls work well. Motion detector is sensitive and with the light up eyes and hooting, cats are scared away

I've tried this 2 times before, the first didn't work at all so got a replacement, that worked (kinda) for maybe a week before it stoped making what I guess was supposed to be the Woot! Eyes flashed and nothing more!

Bought it to keep little birds away from strawberries. The hooting was inconsistant (even when nothing was around). Stopped hooting after few weeks. Looks nice enough that I would buy it again, maybe.
