HISTORY ASPECTS: The French Dassault Rafale B is a multirole aircraft designed and developed by Dassault Aviation for the French Air Force and Navy. It is a twin-engine, canard delta wing, multirole fighter aircraft designed for air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. It first flew in 1986 and entered service with the French Armed Forces in 2001. The Dassault Rafale (literally meaning "gust of wind", and "burst of fire" in more military sense) is a French twin-engine, canard delta wing, multirole fighter aircraft designed and built by Dassault Aviation.
