Body is Cotton
I bought these (or hipsters) last year from a distributor when the body was made of polyester and spandex. This made them perfect for exercise and even some water sports because the entire product was quick drying. They absorbed mess faster and were dryer than disposable period pads. Now the body is made of mostly cotton and are useless for my active lifestyle. The LIGHT version of these are still made of Polyester & Spandex.

Men's use of "Period" bikinis
I have troubles with hemorrhoids that can lead to leakage through my underwear and trousers. I haven't found suitable male oriented solution, but the ladies have long since dealt with an anatomically nearby similar issue, so I'm borrowing from the women. Here is the review: Size: I use a large in male undies, I went with. XL for the bikini's. Probably could have used L. Fit: a little big in back and small in front (duh, they're designed for women.) Comfort: Actually not bad. Better than menstrual pads in my sports UW. Function: The undies I ordered extend to the back; this was important and worked perfectly. Of course there is more padding than I'm using. Washing: Drying is an issue (as would be expected,). Extractor or high speed spin is helpful. Suggestion: I'm a boomer; there might be enough of us out there with similar needs to warrant a more directly oriented product ;[)

Not great
Not as comfortable as other brands I’ve tried. There the extra protection ends is in an awkward spot where I just feel like I’m sitting on something or wearing a diaper. Was excited to try them but will not buy again.

Women like pretty colors as well!!
I currently have 6 pairs of these and I use them for light incontinence, and they work well for me. They used to be available in ‘pretty’ colors, but aren’t any anymore. Grown women like nice colors as well, and the occasional patterns. I know that the dark colors are to hide any leakage, but a pattern might do the same. I miss nice colors! Black, grey, and tan are a bit ‘meh’ for all my undies! 😕

Not for the neurodivergent, fine for neurotypicals
I have Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) & I'm postmenopausal with incontinence issues. I was looking for a more economical option to replace pads & regular panties with washable, reusable "period" panties. Unfortunately, since these have a gusset that only goes half way up the back instead of to the waist line, I can feel the stitched seam on my sacrum & I can't "tune out" the sensation. I'm so bummed!...pun not intended! ;-)

Feels like I'm wearing a diaper. The gusset is too thick. They make thinner period pads. Plus I got the largest size you have thinking they would fit the same as the rest of my Hanes underwear and they run smaller so they creep.

Horrible coverage
I was excited to try these period underwear as an inexpensive alternative to other brands, but I was very disappointed in the results. The style was comfy, but the coverage was nonexistent. I wore these “moderate” rated underwear on a medium-flow day, and the leakage I experienced was horrible, as if I was just wearing normal underwear with no coverage at all. Sadly I would not recommend these to anyone and am thankful I was refunded.
