Won't last more than three years.
I bought this beverage Fridge in 2022. It worked fine at first and after two years the beverages weren't ice cold. After three years, it completely stopped working.

Beverages gets so cold!
The drinks stay very cold and I think it looks great in my bar area. I love Newair products, I highly recommend them. This mini fridge is perfect because it fits a lot of stuff.

Product failed after 4 months - Poor warranty support
Initial Product Performance The beverage fridge worked well initially and had good capacity for our needs. However, after only 4 months of use, it completely stopped cooling in April 2025. Major Issues with Warranty Support Experience Temperature Sensor Failures (April-May 2025) After troubleshooting with support (ticket #402455), they determined the temperature sensor needed replacement. Despite being under warranty, I was charged $4.89 for shipping the replacement part. First Replacement Attempt: The sensor sent was incompatible - significantly too short for my unit's configuration where the sensor wire is permanently installed through the ceiling rather than having a disconnectable connector. Second Replacement Attempt: After explaining the compatibility issue with photos, they sent another sensor that was also incorrect. Unreasonable Unit Replacement Costs When parts continued to fail, NewAir offered to replace the entire unit but wanted to charge me $97.40 for shipping - more than what they charge for shipping a new unit from their website (~$73). This seems unreasonable for a warranty replacement of a 4-month-old product. Poor Communication & Extended Downtime Initial response was helpful, but follow-up became increasingly difficult Had to escalate to management after no response for several days, which was never followed up Over one month without a functioning refrigerator due to incorrect parts and delayed responses Multiple support representatives with inconsistent information Warranty Policy Concerns NewAir's warranty states they will "repair or replace any parts of this appliance free of charge, including labor" for one year, with customers responsible only for "removal or transportation costs." While the $4.89 shipping charge for the temperature sensor was reasonable under this policy, several issues arose: Multiple incorrect parts sent, extending the repair process unnecessarily Replacement unit shipping cost of $97.40 seems excessive compared to new purchase shipping (~$73) Self-installation requirement puts burden on customer for complex repairs that may require specialized knowledge Bottom Line While the initial product performance was acceptable, the warranty support experience has been extremely disappointing. A 4-month-old appliance shouldn't fail this quickly, and when it does, the warranty process should be straightforward - not a month-long ordeal with multiple incorrect parts and excessive shipping charges. Would I recommend this product? No - the poor warranty support and early failure make this a risky purchase despite the initial functionality. Alternative suggestion: Consider brands with better warranty support and local service options to avoid these lengthy mail-order repair processes.

My DREAM Mini Fridge!
I've been wanting this Newair Fridge for a while now, and I finally got my hands on it! I wanted a dedicated space just for drinks and this fridge does NOT disappoint. First off, the design is sleek and modern, with a stainless steel finish and a double layer glass door that protects drinks from airflow and UV rays. The reversible door makes it super versatile for any setup, and the LED light at the top gives it an extra cool look. Storage? Unmatched! It holds up to 126 cans and it's fully customizable with 5 adjustable shelves. I love that I can rearrange or remove shelves to fit bottles, snacks, or whatever I need. Whether you want to stack cans upright or lay them down, this fridge makes it easy. The cooling system is powerful, keeping everything at a chilled 37°F, and with 7 thermostat settings, you can set it exactly how you like. No installation needed, just plug it in, and you're good to go! Right now, I have mine in my kitchen, but it's perfect for any space - dorms, offices, you name it. If you've been thinking about getting one, do it! You won't regret it! Im so happy with mine! It's my dream fridge!!! I cant wait to fill it up with all of my favorites!!

Need help
I bought a wine cooler, the AB-1200, and it only lasted 4 months. I tried to call the number they gave and it says they can't help me and to call back. I've been trying for 2 days and there's no response from the company. The wine cooler doesn't turn on and only the LED stays on intermittently. I need a solution. It's September 18, 2024.

A two year old product NO PARTS
With all the effort I've been through to attempt repair with no repair parts available from you on a unit two years old is a travesty on your company. A lot of wasted effort to locate a receipt and replacing useless parts that you sent out that didn't work is sad. I believe you sold a unit with known issues to the public with no repair parts for the thermostat available. Model AB850

Leaked refrigerant into our beverages
After a week, we noticed a bad flavor on all of our cans. I unplugged it, cleaned it, and started fresh. We restocked it and the same thing happened. Turns out, it was leaking refrigerant. It sat in my basement unplugged past warranty, so they only offered me a 40% discount.

Very noisy unit - would not recommend
We followed the instructions exactly as far as waiting to plug it in and turn it on, it was perfectly level and not enclosed in any way. From the start it was very noisy. The unit is in the basement, in the back, and we could hear it running before we opened the basement door. We called customer service. They were not all that friendly and after the first phone call, they did not respond to our emails unless we followed up. Very disappointed as it is a nice looking refrigerator but we are returning it for something that is quieter.

Doesn't last
Bought this fridge couple years ago in the beginning worked great. Have to defrost it once in a while and make sure have ventilation or won't cool. Compressor died just barely over a year paid over 300 for it to get a year. Which is why they give you 1 year and not 5 year which most refrigeration products have.

I would not buy this product
I decided on this unit for my office because it look good and didn't take up much space. However that is about the only good thing I can say. I had it about 6 months and it stop working. I call the newair tech support and they told me they would replace it, which they did. I received the new one and that one work for about 1 year and that one stop working. I call support again, unfortunately unit now not in warranty and they recommended replacing a part which I did at 35.00 and still didn't resolve the problem. I am not going to put out anymore money on this. The tech support said it could be an electrical problem but it isn't because I change offices in different buildings. I really like the sleek look but looks isn't cooling my drinks and I don't want to chance buying another one because that would make 3 in 2 years. Yes I only bought one and they did replace which is why I gave them 1 star but now the newer one broke now too. I hope that newair can fix this problem because they do have a nice looking product.

Must have!!!
We drink a lot soft drink and hate not to have space in out fridge. We decided to buy a fridge dedicated to our drink, and we found this one. It keeps the drinks ice cold and we love the option to keep the light on at all times.

Love this fridge!
I absolutely love this fridge! I'm using it for a coffee bar/drinking area and it holds quite a lot of drinks! It's sleek and has been keeping my drinks cold. I love how the door is glass so you are able to see what you have without opening it. If you are looking for a mini fridge - this is for you.

I would buy this again
Love my bev fridge from newair! It's nice having a dedicated spot for all my drinks. With a temp control dial, I can really dial in to the perfect temp. As it's cooling down, it makes a small amount of noise but nothing too worry about. This is perfect for my home office! Get yourself one.

4 years of warm beer….
Cooled below 40 for this first few months. After that it's been mid 40's. Now it just fills the void under my counter.

Great drink cooler
I really like this drink cooler. The only complaint is that the tray slots on the side do not go all the way down each side.

The cooler worked fine initially, after about 6 months it cannot cool below 46°F, warm beer sucks.
