It includes a fill line on the lid that counts the number of times you fill the pitcher up to the max fill line. If you haven’t reached 120 gallons, it will not turn red. We also don’t make claims about TDS reduction, since TDS isn’t a measure of water safety and often includes beneficial minerals like calcium and magnesium. Instead, we focus on reducing contaminants and improving taste. You can see exactly which contaminants our filters reduce in our Performance Data Sheets, and all claims are independently verified by NSF International and the Water Quality Association.
