Description

The Brita Denali water pitchers flip lid makes refilling a breeze, while the SmartLight indicator lets you know when its time to change the filter. Usage Directions: Your water filter pitcher can be ready to use in a few steps. No presoak or rinse required. Wash your hands before touching the filter. Hand wash pitcher, lid and reservoir. Insert the filter into the reservoir. Add cold tap water. Discard first three pitchers of filtered water or use to water plants. Replace the water filter every 40 gallons or 2 months. Substances reduced may not be in all users water. Do not use with hot water (85F max).

First, try placing your finger between the reservoir and the pitcher in the spout area to remove it. You may also place your system on the counter, as the tank will expand a little once it's room temperature. Another option is filling the system with water and turning it upside down in your sink.     I love the water filters and I have the 10 cup one and there’s no problems. However, with the smaller size it feels more flimsy and I had to return it three times because I noticed cracking issues. Just not worth it.

    Reset button doesn't work

    I also have problems with the reset button. It won’t stop blinking after the first filter change. I like the size and the fact that it does still filter the water. I paid $36.99 1.5 years ago for this pitcher and I see now it’s cheaper. I contacted Brita in case I somehow didn’t know how to push the button. Their solution was to send me a $10 brita coupon (in-store, so I’m assuming I could only use it on their website and probably pay for shipping) and some stickers for my non existent calendar to keep track of changing my filter, rather than the pitcher just actually working like it should. Brita’s poor customer service is no reflection on Target, but Brita’s solution goes to show that they have no faith in their products.

    I love the size/color options of this filter and I've been happy with it until recently when the RESET button on top stopped working. It's stuck in the depressed position and now I'm not sure when my filters need replacing. Sad it didn't last many more months.
