The Brita Denali water pitchers flip lid makes refilling a breeze, while the SmartLight indicator lets you know when its time to change the filter. Standard Filters should be changed every 40 gallons or about 2 months for best results**. I had completely forgotten about how much I loved Brita home filtered water until I moved into a house with less than great tasting tapwater. I believe in drinking tap water instead of buying bottled water and wasting so much plastic and related resources. The Brita is even better than it used to be, with the nice colors, a more compact easy to handle size, and most of all the filter that keeps track of its own life. The green light every time you fill it lets you know that the filter is still working. Plus very reasonably priced. I love my blue Brita!

I like these filters but I've tried to order it online from target multiple times and every time it comes broken so it seems that they are too fragile with how thin the plastic is or they need a better way to ship them. The handles was broken off one time and other times the pitcher has been cracked

Any filter in a geosemin - seasonal Like turnover - storm is better than nothing.
So small and I'm just one person and a cat. But it does take care of the bad taste during seasonal changes in lake and river water. It's got a very small fill section in the top and I have to fill it multiple times a day, but it does flow through the filter pretty quick. It's not clear how often to wash the pitcher, which I would like to know for something that so frequently handled and going in and out of the fridge. Maybe not perfect but better than nothing.
