The handle on the pitcher broke when I removed it from the packaging. The plastic on the pitcher seems thinner than other Brita models. I have since purchased the Brita Lake and have had no issues.

No joke, every single one of their filter pitchers at best filters 50% of the water, with the unfiltered water leaking into the filtered water. Essentially, none of the water becomes filtered, or any cleaner than before it was ran thru a Brita brand filter product. PLEASE save your money for legit anything else!! You are being lied to, at your own risk, AND paying for it!!

I bought this water pitcher in August 2024 to use to fill a Keurig coffee maker and my cat’s water fountain to hopefully eliminate the water scale that builds up on both. Our city water is really bad, I have been using the Elite filter and it has definitely helped. And now I have been using it to fill my water bottle as well. The water does taste better. However the light indicator in the lid which I really liked as a reminder quit working yesterday. I have researched it and I haven’t been able to find a replacement lid which is a shame. I am very disappointed that the light only worked a few months.

This thing is just so delicate aka cheap with thin plastic and my other brita broke because of that so I'm not thinking it will last long. Honestly I think the bright color makes it look even more cheap. Also the water pours into the handle especially if you're cleaning it. Mold impending.

It is cute but too small for my family of 3. I bought it less than two weeks ago and it’s already flashing that the filter needs to be replaced. We refill it at least once a day so it’s intended for possibly one or two people who don’t frequently drink water.

I bought a pitcher two weeks ago but I’ve realized the filter releases some dark substance that settles at the bottom of my pitcher. Only realized recently that I was drinking unclean water when I lifted my pitcher up and saw a dark layer of sediments under it. I don’t know what to do about this. Any advice, Brita team?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear this was your experience with our Standard Filter, and we want to help. The black specks you see are particles of activated carbon and are not harmful. It is normal for carbon particles to appear in your first fillings but resoaking the filter, completely submerged in a tall glass of cold water, for 15 minutes, then holding it for 1-2 minutes under cold running tap water is often enough to minimize this. Misleading about lead. You really have to research this to figure out that you have to buy a non included elite filter to remove lead!

I did order pick up at Ft Lauderdale Target. When i took the pitcher out of the bag it was filthy!! Not only dirty and dusty but it was cracked in two places. There is no way the Target employee who whopped this a d bagged it would not notice this! It is not that I don’t recommend this product. It was not even in usable condition from Target!
